spells!!! i can't find spells!!!

i'm reading alot of posts about all you other wizzies out there who have all adept spells. i'm a lvl 25 almost 26 wizzie and i have seen only one adept spell drop for a wizzard. i have two adepts and had to buy them both. (Ice spike and Breath of the Tyrant) where is a good place to go look for the other spells??? i'm on the lightly populated toxullia server if that makes a difference.

The drops are random for the most part. If you want them, best chance is the broker.

found most of my 30-39 adept 1's in nek caslte just farm it a few night and u and your grp will all have adept 1's SMILEY

I was in a group, about a month back, hunting Owlbears - Two groups, one after the other, both dropped Ball of Fire. So, Id say start with the Owlbears if your looking for Ball of Fire SMILEY

Well, first of all make a habit of visiting the broker once in a while SMILEY

Additionally I have the feeling that there are more adept spells in the 30`s than in the 20`s. But as the loot is random I might be wrong. JörgPS: There are a lot of named mobs in runnyeye and I`ve seen 6 adept spells within 3 hours. Two of them even were for my class (Am I a lucky [Removed for Content] or not? SMILEY

). You can try to get runny groups as soon as you hit 30, but your chances will increase with every level. It is quite dangerous down there. Moreover I was in nektroplos the very same day and saw at least 3 more adpet`t there. Regarding to level it`s very similiar to runnyeye (or at least that`s my impresson so far).PPS: Runny is located in EL, Nectropolos in Nectulos Forest.

I got Surge of Flame AD 1 from Nektropos castle 2 days ago.And Aurora while waiting for the Lich in RoV.

I'm going to echo the broker comment. It's best to keep tabs on the broker as often as possible. And don't buy right away, watch the prices. Get a feel for what things are going for. Also, think ahead. Find out what spells you'll be getting in the coming levels and be looking to buy those before you actually hit the level. You may be able to get a better deal.

Now as for adept drops, there's no way to predict. I'm level 28 now and I have looted a ton of spell books, but only one has been a Wizzie spell (plasmatic pulse from a Giant in TS).

So make money while adventuring and use the money to make friends with the broker. Check it when you log on and when you log off. Also, occasionally check the black market.

I'm not sure about Freeport. But the Qeynos black market is under the streets in Qeynos Harbor. Look for the merchant Phen Domlinson (sp?), and just into the water right behind him. Swim back under the street and you will see a hole in the wall. Swim through the hole and up to the black market.

in freeport, the black market broker is in East Freeport. Run straight off the docks, and there is a little island righ thtere, go to the backside of it, and yo ucan climb onto the island. Black market broker is there.

I find the black market - with its 40% commission - is almost pointless if you play a class that can be either good or evil - i.e. wizzy. The only advantage on Butcherblock is that the good side is far more populated, so there may be a few more spells. However, because there is a market in Qeynos for these spells, the prices do not drop like they do for evil only classes - i.e. coercor. therfore, with a 40% commission and prices equal to Freeport brokers, its seldom a better deal. (but, like i said, there is generally a higher supply).

On the other hand, evil-class spells are RIDICULOUSLY cheap at the black market broker. I purchased almost every single coercor adept 1 for lvls 20-35 at the average price of about 1 g. some were as cheap as 35 silver (for a lvl 30 spell!!!). At any rate, the adepts were actually there because there is NO market for them in Qeynos - whereas the market in Freeport is non existent becuase all the characters get them through guilds or loot them first hand.

nek castle is fantastic for adept 1s. was there last night for about 3hrs and we got about 10 adept 1s for various classes. the only wizard spell to drop was distorted visions which was dropped by maltus everling.
