<DIV>I played a paladin from launch until level 45 at which point I switched to a Dirge(Which I have played about 2 years).  The Paladin boards had several helpful posters way back then and I am hoping that is still the case.  I am strongly considering two boxing.  Instead of starting all the way over and rolling up a Healer I was thinking about 2 boxing my very old Paladin.  What do you guys think about this?  My Dirge can solo most green heroic names and even some blues.  It seems I would just need a little more time to take white and Yellow heroic names(Which I can usually duo with just about any other class).  Should I start all the way over with a healer or pick up my 45 Paladin(Who does have some fabled armour waiting for him and a decent amount of quests completed).  Thank you in advance for the advice.  </DIV>

<DIV>Use a dps to duo with your pally, if your dirge has good enought dps to do it, then try it with that, another healer will just make the fights longer, not that you wont win, but it's just longer.</DIV>

<DIV>I might be reading the post wrong, but i believe the OP wants to know if it is doable to have the dirge tank the mobs and the paladin character assume the healer role.  You can do that to a larger degree, but it requires alot of sacrifices to make him effective that way.  You would want to go Wisdom/INT line on KOS and Healing/Support on the EOF line, with those selections you maximize your healing capability, reduced cast times, health regen for group and have a cure spells cure.  If it was me i would flip it and have the dirge support the paladin and go the hero/support/heal for all arounf utility and survival skills and the sta/int lines for max crits/health and stun capability.  Just remember that making a paladin devote to healing means subpar to dps and tanking versus going a more balanced approach....<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

I am sorry for the confusion.  I was actually thinking of two boxing the Dirge and the Paly....I was invisioning the Paly tanking.  Do you guys think this is a viable duo while two boxing??  I know it  is decent with two live players.   Thanks again.

<DIV>And like i said, it depends on your dirge, if he's able to do dps you can, even though bards are more utilities they are scouts, and are able to do some dmg, I think it's a feasible duo/box.</DIV>

<P>In another thread I mentioned fury as a great duo partner for a pally.  One argument for starting over with a healer is that you will able to catch up on a lot of AA menoring your healer thru lower tiers.</P> <P>If you duo with a healer you can take yellow ^^^ nameds.  You can't do that with a dirge, that's bottom line.</P>
