Paladin's Aid level 11

<DIV>I am a new Paladin, and was quite suprised to gain a skill at level 11 called Paladin's Aid.  It is not listed in any of the Paladin skill lists I have seen.  In addition, my scholar does not have this as a recipe in his books.  Does anyone know if this is available as a looted adept or master at this point?  I didn't think to check the Paladin trainer to see if it was available as app II. </DIV>

I would think your scholar would have it...  may not be in the lvl 11 book, but in all things, I wouldn't worry too much about it as it is replaced at lvl 25 anyways.  But in short, this spell didn't exist until they did away with the subclass aspect of the game.

<P>I think this spell showed up at the release of EoF or slightly before it. I don't remember any posts in update notes, but I remember logging in one day and having this one spell show up (with the little sound and message that I scribed/learned that ability). I think probably what happened is someone must have noted a missing heal at the low end, possibly while testing out a fae paladin.</P> <P>/shrug</P> <P>~Hawke</P>

I'm pretty sure it was before that Wolfe.  I seem to recall getting it on my other Pally when it when from subclasses to no subclass structure. (Yes, I actually am silly enough to have 2 paladins)

I can confirm that there is a Master 1 version of Paladin's Aid.  I've seen it on the broker a couple of times, but for a lot more than I could afford.  I was trying to find out if it could be upgraded when I first got it but couldn't find anything about it either, and was told by another Paladin in my guild that she didn't think it had an upgrade so I was surprised when I saw it for sale.

<DIV>the vast majority of spells (excepting special ones, like doom judgement and consecrate and a few more) get upgrded every 14 lvls,   so the lvl 11 Paladin's Aid will be replaced at lvl 25.   the first two spells you run into that dont get upgraded that you will use for the rest of you rPally life are Rescue (lvl 25) and Intercede..I dont remmber lvl of that one.  next is doom judegment lvl 35 after that I dont think we hav ea non replaced spell until lvl 55 or 57 or soemthin</DIV>
