<DIV>Hi</DIV> <DIV>Are we doing more dps with 2 symbols (+45 divine dd on each one) , with INT line KOS ( to add the spell "legionary" to our dps) and 1h axe procing divine - shadow axe by exemple- (with the haste buff of the STR line) than with a 2 hander (like claymore or Gotrot).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Did someone has a feedback and some numbers to check pls?</DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV>

I did prepare for that route.. but then I realized I can use axe, trigger axe haste, swap to 2hander within 2 secs, and I think then the gain from the extra symbol is lost.. I've also read rumors of 2 symbol adornments not stacking. Havent testet this yet tho

I tested two-symbols personally on my illusionist... equipped both symbols so the +INT damage modifier would show, adorned one, saw a damage increase, adorned the other, saw another damage increase. Both were glimmering telekinetic (+mental damage) ornaments.

One thing to note, though... "Increases all divine damage by up to 40" doesn't mean that. It means "Increases all divine SPELL damage by up to 40". Combat arts (rather, any damage that is STR based rather than INT based) won't be boosted by this adornment.

Your other three choices for a symbol (since they're fixing the shield-adornments-on-a-symbol bug in the next Game Update) are these:Flowing Thought 2+1% to spell criticals (this one's Fabled, so will cost 5x more)+5 Disruption/Subjugation skillsIf you're not carrying a bow, +45 divine damage is probably still the best choice. Maaaaaaybe FT2.

<DIV>I am at work, so i can't bring up a up to date list on what abilities are considered combat arts and what are labeled spells, but another thing to consider on the +45 divine damage to our spells is the casting time on them. As some have posted above, they are figuring the dps as a 3 second casting time for the full divine damage added. The best picture we can have is to see what abilities reside in the spell catagory, what their base casting time is, and where do divine procs fall into the equation.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Pulling numbers out of thin air, lets say we have 8 divine damage spells of 3 that have 3 sec casts, 4 that have 2 sec casts and 1 that is 1 sec cast. You recieve your full bonus on 3/8th's of your spells, only 66% effective on 1/2 of them and 33% effective on the the 1 spell. Let's further say that one of the 2 sec spells have tics to it, that 30 points of damage is divided up to 5 times or 6 extra damage per tick.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On the discussion of spell crit by 1%, my memory is fuzzy, if a item procs damage, it uses int as the damage modifier, does it use your spell crit percent to figure if you crit on your proc or your melee crit? If spell crit, and you have some proccing items, i would lean toward the 1% spell crit for more damage for me, since i carry alot of proccing gear on me and use the vrasakin club alot.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On the flowing thought adornment, i could see a benefit if you never switched out your symbol to another symbol.
