<DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ok, so for my humble human paladin self I have decided to go 8/4/8/8 in the legionaire(int) line (as I hear there's just no choice in the matter, you do it) then for my leftover points 5/8/8 in the knight(wis) line to get a little more oomph in combat aswell as supporting a group. I can't find any place that lists what takes concentration and what doesn't. I'm thinking the second wisdom line ability that adds slashing damage to the group's attacks for x amount of swings won't, and the attack and spell ability upping group buff will. So with that running I will also have the two proc lines, the self hp/spell shard generating buff and the group wisdom buff up, is that right, or will it interfere with anything else? Any advice appreciated. (like also if my choices suck <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Shion</DIV>

I don't think any of the AA abilities use concentration. In any case, I don't think I have ever run out of concentration points such that I couldn't cast something for lack of them.<div></div>

You bring up a good point. Why are we designed to not have 5/5 concentration slots filled? Fully buffed and in a group, we can only fill 4 out of 5 slots./shrugI'd rather have too many spare, than too few useable (i.e. bards)...<b>but</b>, it'd be nice to have 5 slots filled up in a full group or raid. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Perhaps our T8 ancient spell will be a new buff?<div></div>

<DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Well, in addition to the four I listed there is that siphon aggro from one ally buff that requires concentration, that would be all 5. That makes sense the knight group buffs don't take concentration then, as you'd have to be giving something up to get the bonus, but now I must decide if I want the in combat health regen aura or the heal crits... <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Thanks for the replies.</DIV>

As far as I can remember, through all my respecs with different AA abilites and while fully buffed, I've never had more than 4 taken up.<div></div>

<P><searches the far recesses of his memories></P> <P>There was a time, back in the early days, where we needed all 5 slots (all our buffs required a slot I think), in fact, I think we had to choose. </P>
I seem to recall a time when we had a buff that cost 2 slots and that there was a buff that is now one person only that you used to be able to put on multiple people (intercede perhaps?)

<P>I believe those were all pre LU-13.</P> <P>~Hawke</P>
Aye, it was back before my break that I took at around 6 months after release.

It was a choice between:Vigor of Trust Line (+Str +Sta buff) 1 concentration could maintain on two people.Redemption (pre amends this transfered 23% of hate max) 2 concentration. And our Defensive Stance 3 Concentration. Which bascially meant we we're gimping ourselves tanking if we wanted to put on the agro transfer to maintain hate. And people call these the glory days <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. <div></div>

<DIV>Yeah, but who needed amends when you could just chain-cast group buffs and hold aggro...</DIV>

<DIV>The defense stance used to be 3 slots, our self proc used to cost 1, vigor of trust 1, but i dont remember redemption, I know there was call of duty, that I think it was also 1 concentration slot.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also the ward used to give us agro appIV used to give 1% agro when casted, it used to be great.</DIV>
