"Supporting the second Guardian..." Meaning you're giving your mit to the Guardian thus won't be tanking? And what's the question?

Just what exactly is your question? What gear do you get....What AA line should i choose....You never really said what it is that you want to know.

If your 2nd groups gaurdians job is OT or MA its your job to keep him alive and thats it use Intercepts heals wards and Cel Touch on him. I have had this role with my guilds Bruiser who is MA and believe me you can keep a wipe from happening if you keep the number 2 tank up and if MT still up and your tank goes down you should rez your guy since you will be right with him and can rez him to full health unless you have cleric that can rez with no effects on the job. Its not glamorous but if you do it well you may get bumped up eventually.

The questions:1) What do you want to do in a raid? (Tank, dps, heal)2) How is your guild setup? (How many tanks, healers, etc)3) What is your current gear setup?4) What is your current AA Setup?5) What tier is your guild raiding? (KoS Raids, DT, Labs, etc...or EoF Raids - IS, EH, FTH)Then we could probably help you out a little more

Me, I just convinced my friend who is playing a guardian that he'd have more fun playing his assassin Granted, we don't raid though so take that in that.

sorry, lets blame this on a lunch break computer glitch (there was much more to the post... it didn't show).

Ok, 2 Tank group, support to the Guardian (therefore yes, I'm giving my mitigation to him).

What I am looking for is

advice, tips, tricks etc on what I should be doing in this role (currently I intercept, heal and ward the MT or my tank if it's a split) and throw in dps, and just recently started to be the STA hex doll guy.

advice on AA set-up.

I currently have for KOS: STR down to the bottom mostly for haste and the shortened spell times. I'm down to 8 in the spell crit in INT, and have 8 held in AGI cause at the time, my agility sucked. I'm planning to move those 8 to the heal crit. Is there a better line to go down in KOS?

In EOF I've maxed the healing line and got the heal, I'm working my way down the wrath line, but would this be better spent in the support line?

3. What stats should I be forcusing on? STA, STR, WIS, INT, AGI. In this roll I can see a blend of STR, WIS (for power), STA for survivability, and INT for added bonus.

As far as gear is concern, armor is all fabled excluding the kyle shoulders, good set of resists (7000-9000 in all areas)

As far as what raids... we're going after all t7, done all the KOS stuff and we are beginning EOF content.

All that, throw in the factor that I will be raiding 2-3 nights a week, the rest of the time I will be grouping and being the MT for that.

Thanks!

Message Edited by sammcduff on 01-17-2007 11:54 AM

Message Edited by sammcduff on 01-17-2007 11:57 AM
