Man Mithanel Marr is a rough god to work for. The quests we have to do are like three times the difficulty of the Sol Ro ones. What all dieties did you guys choose?

I'm a High Elf/Fae player. It will always and only be Tunare, regardless of what is/is not the best stat-wise. The lore is stuck in my head from EQ1 and I'd feel like a goober if I worshipped a god other than what my race was meant to.

Besides, the Tunarean anti-Undead miracle has killed a lot of quest heroics for me.

First I started with Marr for the cloak, but then I realised the proc on it would prolly overwrite my 34 dps proc, so I denounced and started Brell after quest 4.

I went with Marr, but mostly just for the lore behind it. I honestly would like to see what some of the other diety cloaks and better miracles do before I switch, but it's really not that big a deal for me. I'm not dependant on the miracles to get the job done.~Hawke

went with marr for the beginning, and the cloak proc was nice, but since pallys are more dps from teh spell standpoint, all hte 40% dps proc was happening for me was when I hit the mob w/my weapon...going sol ro now for the 65 dmg boost per spell.

At lvl 70 I solo'd Marr in about a hour + the only part I needed a few to help with was the last mob and he we not even that hard.

I have happy with the Marr spells but they are almost all geared towards groups...you need some one else to put them on so very few of them help you much.

The STR buff is good since I can get my STR up to around 950 in the right MTraid group...and if you go down the INT aa line you can put a lot of points into CRIT on your spell damage so I have the best of both worlds

On my spell damage I am normaly hitting between 1k for a low to 3+ k for a high so the pally went from super sucky dps pre DoF to high DPS post EoF.

Underworld legplates..

and it suits me well.. Im almost done with CoF, and that will replace my gauntlets of glorious speed for haste, so I can put on my high mit gaunts instead.

Marr is the best choice for a tanking or support paladin. The miracle with the equivalent of 10 hits of stoneskin is AWESOME for raid encounters. Ask any gaurdian if they could have a 10 hit stoneskin for that hardcore pull, and even if it's once an hour they would say yes. Similarly, the miracle where you ward yourself for 5k and intercept 10 times can be a true raid saver if you are in the MT group as a support tank, or you can just cast it on another person in your group who you know isn't taking dmg, and you have an extra 5k ward, with a heal for the group for about 1300 afterward. You just get the ward, and if they aren't taking dmg the intercept just runs out. Those 2 miracles make it right there for me. The intercept blessing can be just as nice if you are in a support role.

If you want a 1300 ward go get devotion M1 and put it on someone who isint taking dmg but has less than max hp. Or put it on yourself with a defiler ward and it should expire before the mob hits throug the defiler ward.

If you want a 5k ward just have a defiler in your group
