There is some macro to change symbols by the bow without unequipping the shield? When I try to equip (Right-click) symbols after a bow pull, my symbols go to the shield slot.. so I have to switch them manually. My only option is to dragg weapon icons for doing it, but do u have some macro for this? (one buttom for switching ranged slot items only)Thx

Forget the exact one but you can type /uneq and press tab and go from there. Then you can do it w/ slot # whatever and it works for all slots.

I have a macro that unequips ring slot 2, (the one that doubleclicking an item doesnt swap into unless empty).

Im pretty sure you can do this with 2 buttons.

1 button is a macro for unequipping ranged slot

1 button is a hotkey for the item to go in the ranged slot.

3 buttons will make you able to swap bow/symbol whenever you want.

I just have the bows and the slot for hte ranged on my hotbar and also the ranged item on my hotbars.

You can RIGHT click on the equipped bow and click unequip then your symbol, ranged item will go right into the empty slot which is your ranged still keeping your shield in place.

Switching to bows is easier just click the bow of your choice and it will auto replace the current ranged item..

Works pretty well for me....

the macro i posted works for everything except earings and totems.

to make it do rings and writ items change range to right_wrist right_ring. Apparently right_ear doesnt work.

I was wondering how to do the slot numbers like someone else sugestied the macro i use doesnt work with numbers.

I remember we used to have strip macros to avoid death decay on gear im sure that used numbers..

Not sure if this will help, but it works for me

I have a really tiny hotbar just above my spells. In it I have my one hander, two hander, shield, dps symbol, tanking symbol, bow and some other stuff

This allows me to switch on the fly between weapons, symbols, shields etc... works really sweet.

I haven't played much with unequiping the bow... but I do know if you have a two hander equiped, then click your symbol then it takes out your bow.

I've also done this with my armor: dps vs tank... very tiny, stacked to the side of my spells. Allows me to throw on different sets of armor on the fly, even in the middle of a fight.

I've been thinking about doing this for resist jewelry... but haven't due to running out of hotbars the issues of multiple slots for ears, wrists and rings.
