My role in the following situations: PvP- Taunt, tuant and taunt.  Be sure that I'm the one that the pesky scouts and mages have in their crosshairs. Raiding*- Trash mobs= DPS, Named= Healing PvE- Tanking, anything else is just gravy *Tanked a split in the amphorous(sp?) drake in DT, was my time to shine and I did.  GL said that they'd be looking at me as a Raid Tank option in the future. My intent was to go down the healing and wrath lines with 5 points put into the group arment (for PvP purposes).  However I'm now waivering my choices and starting to think more on it.  I'll either go Heal/Wraith, Heal/Hero, Wraith/Hero...with of course 5 points always spent in the group arment. So I'm requesting feedback and insight about this. Thanks <div></div>

Glad to see this one has other people not knowing which direction to take.  Figure I'll continue with the heal/wraith lines and then switch if need be. <div></div>

Ive already gone down the wrath line for Smite Evil, then will go down Hero for the +block. Then Im seriously thinking about the group PoA, for when Im not MA,MT offtank etc. Might be a good thing as well in case I ever get stuck in the caboose with the mages /sigh (glad it hasnt happned in a while! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Well to put it blunty I really don't see the need for group PoA if you're not on a PvP server.  In any PvE group situation if the scout or the mage pulls agro I'm able to get it back fast enough so they stay alive, and in PvE raiding the little extra mit isn't going to help the overnuking wizzy :p <div></div>

<div></div>>>>with of course 5 points always spent in the group arment.<<<I have to say that group armament is pretty good -- it makes a serious difference to those who are not very well armored and doesn't do anything to our own mitigation.  I get +630 mitigation at level 63, and that is non-negligible to wizards and other cloth-wearers.EDIT: in response to its lack of usefulness in PvE, combined with the 10-sec-recast-ward AA, you can almost just let the wizard do the tanking.  I was mentoring a 27 warden yesterday and his mitigation ended up being higher than mine.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Zotar99 on <span class=date_text>01-02-2007</span> <span class=time_text>10:31 AM</span>

Sticking by what I said for PvE, there are other AA's to spend your points in besides PoA.  Yeah you can let the wizard tank with it, but the question is why would you ever do that?  I suppose get a swashy in the group and then become main healer or something, but there are other things to spend those points on. <div></div>

<DIV>To each their own, but i have found the +700 mitigation to all non fighters a useful aa so far.  I find myself many times in raid with lots of scouts/mages/healers and they have requested that when we raid lately.  The biggest request has come from brigands/assassins/rangers/swashbucklers that are trying to do melee damage to the mobs and avoid the nasty slashing/crushing/piercing barrages, tailsipes and aoe attacks.  Sure, 10% more mit maynot save a overnuking wizard, but classes that are jousting and/or meleeing the mobs this spell does help alot.  Healers like it also when they are moving in and out to try to throw heals/cures/rezes on people.  The other reason is it is a middle skill that i have to have at least 3 points into to unlock my self proc increaser and the rez recast reduction.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For those interested, in the eof lines my end goal is 21 hero, 21 support and 8 healing, i think on healing i will spread it out and have 3 to single heal, 3 to group heal and 2 for reduced recast on ward.  If it turns out that the cure at the end is not as useful as i think it will be with my playstyle, i will probably respec and go down the wraith line for smite evil.</DIV>

I was thinking the heal but got into a conversation with some of my healers and when it comes to cures on others they don't really have a problem keeping up with them so I pushed that one off my list.  I was orignially going to do the support/wraith lines down to the end but after that convo I changed my mind. <div></div>

Wrath does not work in PVP now if and when they ever fix it.I was approaching 2-3 points left when people started posting that it was no longer working in PVP.Since I had gone that far I just went ahead and got it.They better fix it soon or refund points because PVP was the main reason I was getting it.

PvP would be the only reason why I would go down the wraith line.  I started out in the healing line so have a few more points to spend in that before I go down wraith.I sure hope they fix it.<div></div>
