<DIV>I noticed the other night that if I hit the ranged attack hotkey and then hit the melee attack hotkey I never equip my melee weapon and get the "your too close" message you get if you standing too close to the mob while using a bow.  After I hit the melee hotkey I can still use all my CAs/Spells and they all land and do damage but I am not doing the auto-attack damage due to the fact that I don't switch out weapons when I hit the melee attack button.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thinking it was a bug I had the group ranger try and he didn't have any problems.  After playing with it I noticed that if I hit the ranged button and then hit it again to stop ranged attack and then hit the melee attack button I will equip my weapon and all is well but what a pain to remember to "turn off" ranged attack.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else having this problem?</DIV>

When pulling with a bow, I go right into spells/CAs once the target is within melee range... doing it as such I have never had the issue you are describing.

I've run into that on my guardian before.  If going from ranged to melee I double click my melee icon or go into a CA to avoid it. <div></div>

Yeah after playing with this it only happens if I hit melee autoattack...if I hit a CA that triggers melee autoattack everything switchs like its supposed to.

<P>That's really weird. I specifically did this the other night to see if I would experience the same problem. Every time I'd hit the melee autoattack key, though, I went right into swinging my axe with no problem.</P> <P>~Hawke</P>
