<DIV>Does it often exceed 2k damage? 2.5K? 3K? Is there more damage against Vampires and other undead?</DIV>

Depends on your AAs and gear. I have ok int and crit AAs maxed, so I've had mine hit for (max so far) 3200-ish per mob. Normally I see it hit for 2400-ish though.~Hawke<div></div>

<P>My Int sucks butt and I still do pretty good damage. Usually 1800 - 2400 damage in a group. (Crits were higher, think I hit 3200 once) Haven't used it raid buffed yet but I would expect to do well over 3k if I have any kind of dps buffs on. </P> <P>One of our other Pallies was doing HOS last night and hit 1700 dps (a few times) on the parse so with the other wrath line boosts to the AOE's there is a considerable boost in dps. I don't know what buffs he had on so I can't comment on what set up he needed to be able to hit that. </P> <P>So far I really like the wrath line. Best line out of the bunch imo.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Very very good.. i got my Wrath line full and i do some nice dps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In 100% offensive gear and stance i had 990 str ( 1150 with short term buffs) and 600-700 int in grp.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I got a critical hit with Smite evil for 6300 dmg on 5 mobs in LoA and i had concentrate and shot throu all my Aoe and other Ca/spells.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I parsed 2400 and beat swashy, brigs and wizard. Even a conjurer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All my Ca and offensive spells are M1.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So we can do some big dps if you know how <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>To answer the OP, hell ya smite evil is worth it. I just got it last night, and was using it in labs, so I don't know what it won't affect as far as mobs go, but obviously everything in labs was affected. Using it I was criting for up to 3.5k and typically hitting for mid 2k, I used it once and pulled all 3 mobs off our MT.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To the rest of folks... I have been having a significant DPS issue lately, anyone else seeing this? Before the combat revamp I was doing about 800-1000 dps on a regular basis in a raid situation and bursting up to 1200 or so. Now since the combat revamp I am struggling in the 600 range, and *might* hit 800 on a good burst. SInce then I have added better gear with more stats, and the wrath line... and typically see my STR and INT in the high 500s and am in the same group makeup that I used to be in. Seems like most folks are reporting higher DPS, and I seem to be stuck doing less than I was before.</DIV>

<P>I'm going to call BS on a crit of 6300, at least on one single target. What I have noticed with this is a wide range of values. It will depend often on how much Int you have, and debuffs on the mob.</P> <P>Typically, with my Int buffed to 750, and with the mob completely debuffed, with Dispatch on the mob, I will hit about 4500 on a single target. I haven't run into many instances of it not working because of the class of the mob. With so many undead, it seems to work almost all the time. </P>

I am guessing that 6300 is possible other night was in group with SK Me Wiz Necro Fury Dirge after mob was debuffed SK hit deathmarch my Int went to 970 something and I was critting for 4200 with Refusal of Conviction and over 1000 base damage on 1500crits on my 3 AoE since this spell is better than any of them I say its possible if you got dps boost and enough int. Giving serious thought to Sol Ro as God right now last miracle make all spells hit for extra 400 for 10 mins I was trying to comprehend Concecrate being at 372 for me with 725int add about 120dam thru aug and cloak use miracle your looking at 900dam to each mob in aoe every 3 secs without critting could make for some intersting parses.

<DIV>DPS buffs don't effect spell damage. Am I wrong? At least I didn't think so. I don't think it's possible to get an extra 2k damage out of a spell going from 750 int to 1000, using the diminishing returns curve. I've hit 4,800 with refusal, and 2k on some of my AoE's, but never over 5k on smite evil. I'll keep trying<BR> <BLOCKQUOTE> <HR> hawsecav19d wrote:<BR> I am guessing that 6300 is possible other night was in group with SK Me Wiz Necro Fury Dirge after mob was debuffed SK hit deathmarch my Int went to 970 something and I was critting for 4200 with Refusal of Conviction and over 1000 base damage on 1500crits on my 3 AoE since this spell is better than any of them I say its possible if you got dps boost and enough int. I honestly dont know if DPS buffs help spell damage I just knew that my dps goes up and I thought that included any damage we did never seen it say only melee damage but never checked that hard either.

Last I heard, DPS affected melee attacks only. I think that might also add to CAs but I am not 100% sure of that.~Hawke<div></div>

DPS & Haste only affect autoattack damage.I really depends on how much a mob is debuffed really... tep/pally divine debuff + Dispatch from Brigand I can see that'll push it up quite high.<div></div>

<P>I guess I've never been certain if the damage number on the screen already count the mitigation reduction of the mob you are attacking. I assume they do -- so if the crit damage on roc is 2200, that's 2200 after the mob's mitigation reduction of your divine attack. Is that right? If right, I should be able to plot the mit effect of different mobs by comparing attacks before and after debuff (righteousness is the spell I think). </P> <P>If my presumption is correct, and any of you all have tried this, how much difference in actual damage does the debuff make on a Mistmoore vamp for instance? This may affect how many AA points I put into the righteousness debuff option.</P> <P> </P>
