That things like our power pool would be ninja'd into the update notes, or we would have one less stat to worry about or for the love of god our Hoo'loh hat was freaking 67 instead of 60...something...But alas, I shouldn't have set myself up.

The update notes *did* say that classes that need multiple stats for power would see up to about a 25% increase in power if their given 'power stats' were high enough. And about the Hoo'Loh hat, perhaps it was a low enough concern that it didn't actually make the update notes list... but since they fixed it in beta i can't imagine it'd not come over to live.

/confused

~Sir Hawke Holyblayde, Hero of Maj'Dul

There were tons of things left off the patch notes. Probably b/c there would be about 40 pages if it was all put up.

Yeah I think I missed something here Liluk, what were you hoping for?I played my Shadowknight a bit this morning, my mit was the same, avoidance a little lower. Didn't think to compare my power pools before and after, but it felt about the same. Melee weapon damage felt a little lower, but that could be because I haven't soloed in a while.

I took screenshots of my character in offense versus defense plus all my gear i tote around and my spells and spent a hour or so last night comparing. End result was my stats were exactly the same as before EOF, health and power slightly down due to some pieces readjusted on the scale down, my spell damage is noticeably more now, higher cap on disruption coupled with crit chance and proccing gear made for a happy combat last night. My less health and power was easily surpassed by tossing my stolen knowledge earing from nizara on the off slot and my mitigation took around a 200 mit hit when comparing in offensive mode. I was tinkering around with the transmute skill and the bow skillup and forgot to look at how our defense stance looks now. I am happy they redid the cuirass of protection, makes it to where i dont have to wear it to have the most mitigation.

All in all i like the new AA's for what it is worth, a friend of mine showed me his guardian's AA lines and they are lackluster too. I think i will acrue some AA points and not spend them for abit to see how our AA's pan out the first couple weeks, The Smite Evil if it stays as current on Live will be a very nice AOE to have. The end line cure says friend on the target, can i target myself or a group member or raid member or is it just group friend only?

With the changes in mit and resist, i think having max health will be even more important than ever, at the least on the hero line i will get the increase health from our sacrament line. The final line spell in healing seems a little to watrered down for me, it is another spell that i wonder if i can target myself with and why the large power cost.

The group armament is a little odd, with grouping with dps groups i can see as a support role a extra 700 mit helping out their class when the pull a mob for a hit. Would of liked a reduced mit on fighters of say half but i will have to experiment later on it. Does that ability stack with pledge or you can only have one up or does it replace?

Our Defensive stance i like better than before EOF, with better gear it improves your total mitigation buff from this. It seems to look only at your base mitigation on the armor piece and not care about the slashing/crushing/piercing buffs which is fine by me. It is a nice concept that as i improve my gear i recieve a scaled benfit to that spell and having the master already I am looking forward to it.

It can be cast on yourself, and refreshes almost as quickly as our single-target heal. So, when you're in a bad spot, it's pretty nice (when not interrupted) to ward, single heal, arch heal, group heal and there ya go... with crits, you're back to near full health.

*Disclaimer: I am not saying we should be sword-weilding templars, I'm just clarifying on a point for any that are interested in this particular playstyle.

~Sir Hawke Holyblayde, Hero of Maj'Dul
