After a two months break I came back to EQ2 and discovered that now we even have a taunting problem. 2 months ago I could keep aggro on me without too much problems because I have all my taunts spells at master level, all my healing spells/wards at master level and almost all my DPS spell at master level. I also tried at that time the strenght AA to get a boost on aggro but it wasn't as good as the int AA line (that is also useful for soloing). 2 months ago, aggro could still jump from time to time but it was bearable.Today, with people running around with fabled gear and equiped with master spells it seems that the spike DPS they get make us paladins very hard to keep aggro. Not only do I see aggro jump when there is 2 guys in my group with the same level of damages (2 wizards for example) but I can only lose aggro with guy lower level and guys with low DPS. I was even in a group where agro jump on each four other guys (another paly, a guard 2 level under me, a wizard, a monk). And whoever I tried to amend, the aggro was flying around the group. <font color="#ff0000">Because almost ALL my spells are master I don't see how I can get more aggro on me, unless by getting some fabled gear with great procs. </font>I was also in duo with a scout and discovered that one of his abilities break my amends and there is probably other abilities around that break amends. Add that to sigil that break amends and other aggro transfer breaking amends and it become a nightmare to play as a meat wall. And I'm not the guy with that problem because we were raiding AoA and our MT was a paly with better gear and great experience. And he has lost aggro many times to our bruisers and monks and <font color="#ff0000">he even lost aggro to me while I was just on autoattack and with amends on the healer (I have mediocre 2h weapon)</font>. It means that amends and our taunts are not enough to keep with spike DPS and that our taunting is pushed to the limit were any resist makes us lose the aggro. For a long time I thought Paly was at least very good in aggro management but now I feel like they are dangerous for the group. But maybe all tanks have the same problems with the DPS increase of other class ?<div></div>

Nothing has changed, except perhaps your perception. Your time away may have negatively influenced your familiarity with your character and the game in general, a conclusion supported by your surprise at having amends overwritten by incorrect buffing. As far as two better equiped, high agro damage classes going full out, no tank will hold agro, and that is the way it should be.<div></div>

I honestly have little trouble with aggro when I'm trying. Even if a class starts going "all out", if the Amends target doesn't suddenly go AFK or LD, things are generally fine. The difficult part of being a Paladin is that you have to depend upon others for your aggro.A side question for my Paladin brothers: Will Amends and Sigil Stack? I've not tested it extensively, but 70% + hate if you tell your Amended target to go all out at the start would be very nice! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>
It helps if you tell us what you're doing to create aggro.. maybe you're missing some tricks. I'm very happy with aggro gain on my Pally.

Check what buffs are on you and decide for yourself.</div>

Amends still gets bugged if you dont buff it last on your target. I now cast amends on my groupmate right before I pull, not while waiting for the group to form (even tho he begs me).I have found that Sigil is a very much underused spell for most. And if you have a fury worth their weight in your group cast sigil right before they lay in with their AE, and you will have some nice aggro control.Warlock, Fury, Mystic, Dirge, Paladin, Coercer=fun fun paladin lov'n<div></div>
