<DIV>I went to HoF and had a Fury healing me and I was pretty much getting owned by the level 72^^^ named guy we took him down on the fourth try but I think the issue is my mitigation is lacking.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Here is my current setup:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cuirass of Protection</DIV> <DIV>Legplates of Xhorroz (Claymore)</DIV> <DIV>The rest is Xegonite made by me</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Was looking at PoA to get the Awakened Scalelord armor and doing the Hoo'Lohs helm quest.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anymore suggestions to pick up armor? I do raid one night a week in Labs with my guild though we usually only clear to the 3 grouped named then call it a night.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also wanted to know how the Protection on a shield works? I noticed that only the + crushing etc affects my Mit and I have know idea what the protection does?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks In Advance,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Andlar Hammerfist</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Within the first 3 named that you clear drops a nice shield...Draconic Deflector. Also do the Den every day to get two light chitin rings and keep on with the claymore quest line.<div></div>

The protection value is part of the avoidance calculation.....Awakened armor from PoA will be a nice upgrade for some of your gear.   Try getting up to the PoA parts of the claymore as well to get a mitigation earring, and belt....<div></div>

<P>Thanks for the replies. I am trying to get my Hoo' Loh's and Claymore both to the point  that I need to hunt in PoA so I can kill all the birds with one stone. </P> <P>Thanks for the explanation of the shield workings as well.</P> <P>I have read that Den is a good place to hunt for the Chitin Rings too. I will need to learn the layout there. How do the mobs compare to say PoA or HoF?</P>

<DIV>I'd say easier. (Compared to POA 4th floor, def easier then HOF)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Only thing you need to deal with in Den is the repops, you kinda need to keep moving.  Whole zone can be done pretty quickly, especially since they never fixed the buggy egg part at the end.  Just need to learn the ring events then its a snap.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
