Claymore finished

<DIV>I'm about to do my final turn-in for Claymore, and I was wondering if people could share their opinions on whether I should take the sword or shield.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was planning on taking the shield, but a couple people in my guild have taken the sword and are quite happy with it. Im still clueless in that matter, the Draconic Deflector and the Vilucidae shield are about as good or maybe a bit better than Qeynos Guard IMO, but the only 2hnd I think is better than the Qeynos Claymore is the Pride's edge, again IMO. I would choose the sword, since very lil people in Unrest has the sword, the only thing would make me choose the shield is that I get to kill Taranix before I could get the Draconic Deflector, since I swear im the paladin with the worst luck on drops in the server.

<P>My problem, in a nutshell, is that the Qeynos Claymore seems like a better item. It procs when hit by melee which is more often than the Guard. Plus it has the riposte proc. Does the riposte proc go off when I riposte a mob or when I get riposted by a mob?</P> <P>But I'm only going to get hit if I'm the MT. I'm never the MT in a raid, and when I MT for a group I use hammer and shield, not 2h sword. </P> <P>The shield, on the other hand is great if I'm taking spell damage whether or not I'm tanking. But if I'm in a raid I will want to use a 2h.</P> <P>I guess I'm leaning toward the sword at this point. It'll be great for beating up on grays and if I want to do the questlines in EoF I bet I'll have to beat up a lot of grays.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Take the sword its got a 2 ways it can proc and with 68% chance to crit if you went down Int line its going to do extra damage on top of what it normally does your not going to get anouther 2 hander that procs offencive and defencive.</DIV>

The shield come EoF is the best shield in the game at the moment.  Vilucides got nerfed, and the Qeynos Claymore got more Hp/Pwer and Agility added to it.Not sure on the sword, but 2h'ers are easy to come by<div></div>
