I play a level 31 Paladin on the Najena server. For sometime I have been debating if I should betray him, and have him go Shadowknight. After alot of thought I have decided to keep my Pally and just roll a Shadowknight. Since I will be keeping my Pally I have a question for the community. What would you consider are the most important stats for a Paladin? I have read that for Shadowknights it's INT for their spells. Would that be the same for the Paladin, or is it another stat I need to be looking at? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.<div></div>

I'm going to give you a somewhat generic response, and hope that you take it and run with it. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />The most important stat simply is whatever you need most (personally) to fit your own playstyle. All stats are usable and valid for a paladin. Sta gives you more HP, Str makes you hit harder and gives you power, Wis gives you resists and power, Agi helps you avoid being hit, and Int makes you spells hit harder. It takes a lot of tweaking and good honest self evaluation to know which stat you need most.So if you arent doing enough damage for your tastes, but dont have problems staying alive, a good str/int mix would help you out. If you do ok damage but your survivability isn't too hot, perhaps some sta/agi would get you on track. If it seems everyone and their brother lands their spells on you, aising tresists or upping your wis base should fix that right up.Hope that helped some.~Sir Hawke Holyblayde, Hero of Maj'Dul<div></div>

<DIV>Sta if your mt or offtank followed by hps from items Group buffs will get you capped in Str. Wiz Fury will help with Int and Str as well but once you cap Sta the extra you get from your items can add up.Off tank in our guild doesnt have maxed mid but he caps out at almost 11k hps and he stays up alot longer than other tanks we got with sim mit. Its great when we crit buts its a bummer when you get critically hit. Spike damage is hardest thing to compensate for and only thing that will save you is having alot of hps.</DIV>

We've been told caps will be much higher and harder to hit, and mobs will no longer have that "to hit" bonus that waxes everyone so badly. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />~Sir Hawke Holyblayde, Hero of Maj'Dul</div>
