I haven't raided in close to a month, but my parses were totally dependant on the group that I was in.....if I was OT and had a Coercer + Bruiser + Mystic in my group it would be about 700ish - 1k depending on me switching my stances, and gear back and forth. If I got an extra dirge, well then fights in which Blade Chime was up my dps was higher.I do not believe I ever went full offensive (since I used to OT a ton, and OTing is all about switching gear and stances), except once in DT but I had a great proc group with me (Warlock, Conjuror, Dirge, Coercer, etc) so my dps was over 1k.<div></div>

<P>I posted a couple shots in <A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=10&message.id=29091&page=2" target=_blank>this thread</A> showing some DPS parses. It depends on group make-up, the mobs you are fighting (we do way better on groups over singles), and whether or not you need to do healing/warding, etc to help your raid survive.</P> <P>~Sir Hawke Holyblayde, Hero of Maj'Dul</P>

<DIV>I parce in the 350-700 range depending on group and if I am healing. I always add in how much I healed cause that is part of being a Pally. I normally heal for 60% of what a healer class heals in a raid so I dont fell all that bad about being 8th on dps side of parce and 6th on healer side. Last labs trash run I was the only healer in my group and the Wiz I had amends on was top parce so I dont feel to bad I didnt get but 290 its all about what you can live with and be happy there is only so many top notch guilds out there and they have already got the raid teams and they are going to parce a hell of alot higher than a beginer raider so dont be intemidated by seeing parses of over 1k those people are in great setups and got the great gear already.</DIV><p>Message Edited by hawsecav19d on <span class=date_text>10-30-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:32 PM</span>

Typically I am in the 400 range during raids in the MT group, that is in defensive stance and using a good 2 hander. I have parsed in the 800s on occassion, usually that named eye with all the little taters in labs. I just light up consecrate and aoe like crazy. The nice thing about a pally is we can do damage in decent amounts on that one mob whether it is immune to melee or arcane. I'm usually right up toward the top of the parses on that mob.<div></div>

Because we like it that way...Not being a raid optimized guild, though we do pretty darn good, we don't always have all the classes we need... I work well in the MT group, pledging, amending a high hate class like a defiler, group heals to take the edge off of some of the aoes that catch the healers in our group so they can focus on the MT, able to step up and grab aggro should the MT drop...Optimal? No, but like I said, we don't always have every class we need, and sometimes we have more of some classes than we need. I guess that is what happens when you have a large casual guild that likes to raid... you do the best with what you have on hand at the moment. I'm guessing there is a huge difference in the class make-up and sheer numbers of my guild from your's. I'm guessing you have a smaller number of raiders, more diverse class distribution and can optimize in ways we can't. /shrugIn short, we dance with the girl we brought./cry thanks for harshing on my mellow mer /cry<div></div>

Wasn't really saying anything against it man, I just was wondering is all.....you work with what you have, and if that is the best solution so beit....Guessing you go:Warrior (zerk or guardian)DefilerTemplarPaladinDirgeWardenNot sure what you are working with, so I can't comment....but just trying to see if I could help out your dps a little...if you were MT then it would be tough, but if you are OTing I could probably give a couple suggestions....if you want to PM me with some info, maybe I can help out <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<DIV>Group setup will change your DPS considerably. Depends on your role also. If your not going to be tanking or OT, then your buffs will make a huge difference. If you can get up to 100% dps and haste and have your INT and STR maxed, you'll put up impressive zonewide numbers over 1.2k. It all depends how your guild uses you. All my AA's are geared towards spell and melee crit, so I'll hit impressive numbers in the right group.</DIV>

Typical MT set up isGuardian or ZerkTemplarDefilerPaladinWardenCoercerSometimes the warden is swapped for another classAny advice you all could give would of course be welcome. We do pretty well for a moderate raid guild, we clear labs, lyceum, don't do halls too often, harla darr, talendor, gorenaire, monoliths, deathtoll - haven't got Tarinix yet, but we just got into DT less than a month ago.<div></div>
