<DIV>If you get the Qeynos Claymore for your reward at the end of the quest or any of the other 100+ dps 2handers and could still reach current max mitigation I know this is about to change but as is  would the bonus to damage and reactive damage from procs make up for the number of times that you block normally?</DIV>

When will people know that a shield wont change your mitigation, but it changes avoidance ?<div></div>

I don't recall having seen a 2 hander with that on it.~Sir Hawke Holyblayde, Hero of Maj'Dul</div>

That was why I asked at what point would the dps outway the chance to block? Most hi end shields got sv s/c/p on them but so if your at max mitigation anyway at what pt does dps outway the15-20% chance you was going to block?

The only time I see going two hander more favorable than sword and board when tanking is on solo mobs..  granted, I dont have claymore, which has the defensive procs,  that may allow me to change to two hander for some heroics.   Well...I lie...I have been in an all 70 group and two handed my way through all of POA including names as MT....and have followed  a guard two handing his way through as well.

<DIV>when i MT, basically everything outside of nizara/raids, its either my jade crescent axe from venekor, or the planar axe/living breath.  I still will sit at 75% mitigation (the reason i say miti is cause all the shields i own have +s/c/p cept my resist shields) and 50% avoidance (yaa for getting my agility up, shields are null points now)</DIV>
