If you really want to dps as a paladin, then you can, but at a severe cost IMHO. I've seen a pally max out his dps at 800-900. And max means using everything... Consecrate, Master abilities, extreme damage focused AA's. And no way in hell you're hitting 8-900 every encounter. And if you really think anything below 1,000 is considered real dps, then your damage classes aren't nuking fast enough. I think you took this a bit too far. The OP was implying perhaps a slight increase in DPS, a slight increase in tanking quality, etc. etc. And I agree. I kinda derailed with my last post, but I"m with the OP on this one. I don't want to be a guardian though. When I chose a pally, I knew there would be restrictions and even questions about certain stereotypical tank characteristics that we don't supposedly have. I do however think it's a bit unfair that warriors get an AA line that adds base mitigation while we're stuck with a broken stoneskin AA (I recently gave that up btw). It would be nice to be able to move our holy knight in the direction we choose. I'm kinda tired that every subclass is essentially the same thing. I was hoping the AA's would fix that, but as it turns out, 90% of the paladins seem to have taken the same AA line.

<DIV>I'd like to see more undead specific personally, i mean we are Paladins - in theory the bane of Undead - so why do we only have 3 attacks (correct me if i've missed one here) our Glorious strike proc, our grp proc and extinguish will that do more damge to undead ? im not saying ALL our attacks should do double damage, it would be unbalanced. But maybe a few spells that ONLY affect undead ? <shrug> just a thought... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>More than one debuff would also be nice, i know we have doom judgement as well, very useful spell, but for a "utility" class our debuffs are sadly limited. I know! Your EOF AAs will make you to reduce your fear and less chance to cave-in and wouldn't bow before SK's dark religion for anything that you try to insult them or depiction their own gods... Your EOF AA will enable you to avenge murders within Paladin community from dark mobs caused by SK community for any trivial freedom of speech you tried to envoy..
