at 70 it is technically 6k which is 80% resist to a lvl 70

however, Ive heard that higher mit will help against 71 and ups

there is a formula for miti cap, but dont know what it is

The conj mit buff Geotic Seal at master 1 is way lower than 800, and it doesn't stack with multiple conjurors. The best perma mit buff is conj + healer + crusader pledge which all together at master 1 gives about +1500-1600. 80% is the cap, you can see your percentage by mousing over your mit number. This is agianst non epic even cons, the cap scales beyond for higher level epics. 6k mit is fine for most all t7 raid mobs. So if your gear is good you just need the healer buff which does about 700 for the whole group.

also similiar mit buffs dont stack you can put all the conjurors in a group you wnat to, but their buffs will not stack, so stick with onyl one conj.

80% is also the mit cap against epics, The mit cap is the same against all mobs of the same lvl, wether a twiple down, or a epicx4 of course against a lvl 71, you will need higher mit, somewhere around 6075 or so.

BTW cap isnt exactly 6k, it is around 5950 or so, but it can change dpeending on gear and buffs being used.

Theoretically, the mitigation cap should be 5600 at level 70 against level 70 mobs (0.80 * 70). HOWEVER, there are hidden diminishing returns on equipment as per their level requirements. These diminishing returns are not noted in the raw mitigation value (number), but in the mitigation percentage. If one had all their mitigation pieces with a level 70 requirement, then you should see the 80% mark at 5600 mitigation.- 6k seems to be a common place to cap out at 80% (vs lvl 70 mobs) probably due to relic and other fables having lvl 67 requirements.- May be able to use the simple formula for mobs over level 70, although we have to remember the diminishing returns with level requirements. There also may be hidden multipliers for yellow and orange mobs.

I really wish they would redo teh wy you read mitigation. It is confusing with teh whole diminishing returns thing. I wish they would just make things a flat lvl. so what if a piece is lvl 55 gear, if it is bettre quality, and the mitigation is higher than a lvl 65 piece, why should it offer less protection?

80% is also the mit cap against epics, The mit cap is the same against all mobs of the same lvl, wether a twiple down, or a epicx4 of course against a lvl 71, you will need higher mit, somewhere around 6075 or so.
Yah it is, poor wording on my part. The cap is always 80%, but the mit you need to have to reach 80% changes.
