[Removed for Content] off about new wizard/warlock hate transfer

now the wizard i duo with all the time cant even give em the buff that gives me mana when i get hit because it got a crappy 3% hate trasfer tacked onto it, NOW AMENDS DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless she cancels the buff, so now after the patch i just have one less buff on me when we duo.oh well, sony should have added a brand new spell to teh class that is a hate transfer instead of tacking it on to an already buff. but i can see there point, dont want to have to add a new spell, and have everyone grab upgrades to a new spell and yatta yatta yatta, this only effects us pallies anyways cause we have amends<div></div>

as a rule of thumb amends stacks with no hate transfer.  The wizard CAN put that hate transfer on the pally, then pally put amends on someone else, but in this guys case, duoing that wont help much heh.  Our wizard doesnt seem to be too fond of it...he still dies a lot when trying to make those 3k+ parses <div></div>

ya, it sucks cause it was actually a buff i liked to have casted on me, when swarms of mobs surround me, it gives me enough mana to feed my power for heal/wards... anyways, i hope something is done about it, not that they will make it work with amends, it just seems that now 2-3% is totally smack in the face, hahahah when other dps classes get better hate transfer/reduction. <div></div>

problem not solved, well halfway solved, yes i could just cast amends, and have the wizard not cast the buff. but then i dont get their BUFF, which  has a proc to increase my mana when i get hit, its helpful when i duo cause i have less downtime, so in reality its not solved, its just droped now, not that the wizard buff was game breaking in the first place, just nice to have the mana when i get hit so i can heal more.  the only time i remember saying wow THAT BUFF WAS FREAKING THE MOST BEST THING EVER! was when i was main tank inside of bloodskull valley? the one for the lightstone hq where swarms of orcs rush you, i got hit so much, that i was kept at full mana, while i was juicing, CA's, heals, Wards, and taunts.   oh well like i said, i can cancel the buff, but sucks how it wont work with paladins that duo with wizards/locks which i do 90% of the time, my 2 friends i play with are wizard and warlock. haha <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

Let's say a wizard/warlock casts a spell and gains 10,000 hate. With Boon on the tank, they get their hate reduced by a whopping...........300. That's if it's at Master I quality. So they have 9,700 hate, and the tank has 300. Sure, it will add up over time, but unless the tank generates MASSIVE aggro, that 3% has done next to nothing for the wizard/warlock's aggro. The wizards and warlocks are up in arms over that more than anything. You ask what it should have been? I'm guessing 10-15% would have done right by them, and wouldn't be game breaking. You have to be on some serious crack if you think that they are gonna get anywhere close to 10-15%, and would do nothing right for them, they need to be fixed but thats a very stupid way of doing it.  Think of the implications to everything else in the game.  And btw 300 transfer in your example comes to 600 total hate difference, thats close to clarion cry.  I'm not looking grass is greener, im looking at it realisticly.

LOL ok, man. I never said they'd get 10-15%. I just guessed that would be enough to make the hate transfer worth it. I believe I even stated that I wouldn't know since I don't play those classes. I also didn't say that that 10-15% redux would 'fix' the class, so I'm not sure why you think that I meant it in that way. /shrugI'm glad you're cool with it as is, but they certainly aren't, and I already miss the extra mana for the lengthy fights that have no stops in it. I've been trying to explain to our warlocks/wizards how amends isn't working with this new hate transfer... can I ask for some answers to specific situations and whether they work?A) <i>[the one that obviously doesn't work] </i>Pally has Amends on Wizard, Wizard has Hate Transfer on Pally.B) Pally has Amends on Wizard, Wizard has his Hate Transfer a different tank.C) Pally has Amends on different person, Wizard has Hate Transfer on Pally.Also, are there other spells other than these new changed ones that I should be aware of that don't work with Amends the same way?<div></div>
