Hi,

My wife plays a paladin, and she recently bought a 'pet' skill from the paladin trainer. It creates a squire humanoid. It also came with a button bar with attack, defnd yourself, defend me, ect. While exploring this pet, it really doesn't seem to do anything. Is it just fluff, or does it have a use?

Thanks for any replies

Its a fluff pet just runs around with ya nothing more. Will attack if enemy hits with an area attack , dies quickly too. Also I want to know why squires are only men squires now.I like the female squires far better than the men squires.

In a nutshell - there's nothing that sucks more than the squire. Nothing. Except maybe ... nah there's nothing that sucks more.

well in pvp it can be used to confuse things abit, /petname <yourname>, but other than that, they just get in the way.a guildie had his pet gazer harm touched a week or 2 ago, that was funny!

T he color would compliment our blue from castigate and consectration and if it was aura, it could change our banana yellow to forest green armor, heheheh.
If it gets hit doesn't it fight back? People use aoe's in pvp all the time, wouldn't that cause the squire to defend itself against the attacker?

that's slightly odd....my 'fun' wizzie pet that I get (cat, book, flying snake) will attack a mob if it gets hit by an AoE.....

now...my AA bonus pet wont.....but ive actually been saved by my flying snake as i aggro'd a mob, it AOEd before I had a chance to run....I ran anyway, but my snake stayed and fought until its (LOW) health was gone

now that's something

(although, my AA gargoyle pet beat a lvl 35 assassin in a duel)
