<DIV>Title of post, says it all. I wanted to get my gear set up for when I hit 62. So I was wondering what all the other pali's thought about armor wise. I.e. Devout or Vanguard. Devout gives the same except instead of int you get agile and +1 defense instead of disruption. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I guess I'm asking this question because of all these posts where pali's are usually set as an off-tank or utility class in higher end groups, so would taking more int for spell dps be worth it?</DIV>

<P>Vanguard would be the best imho especially since the chest and legs are imbued. It wouldn't hurt to substitute a few devout pieces like maybe the boots and bracer for example just to get a little more AGI and +DEF. INT is an important stat too but not when tanking really.</P> <P>Xegonite is great gear to start out with at 62 until you can manage to get the better drops. </P>

Actually I went with full devout.  When you go defensive you have a great balance of strength, wisdom, intelligence and stamina and your DPS increase.  If you are tanking and not worried about resists, go offensive and your intelligence will really climb and the dps increase accordingly.  The damage proc from the legs and the heal from the chest are ok... and if you must have them, go legs and chest vanguard and the other five pieces devout.<div></div>

Check broker for cheaper options to Xegonite... while raws are cheap (40g or so on my server) you'll soon have better options available cheaply. For chest, shoot for Cuirass of Protection by mid 60's, and Empowered greaves.
