Their opponent is forced to recover their weapon while defending against attacks.</P> <P>-A powerful frontal attack that decreases the targets DPS by 2% per level for 5 combat rounds. Targets Defense is lowered by 5% per level for 5 combat rounds.</P> <P>-Power cost: 0. Casting time: .8 Recovery time: 1.5 minutes</P> <P>-Must have Great sword or Hammer equipped.</P> <P><U>2nd tier - Loyal Defender:</U></P> <P>Through tireless exercise and devotion to their cause the Paladin has mastered the use of the two handed weapon. I like your creativity. There should be I feel more oomph in our end of line AA skills.For example, fear immunity doesn't count for much now. Add charm immunity, even if just for a period, or just a big mental resist buff - by the power of the Gods your faith resists the effects - and there would be more places where a pally would situationally shine. That would fit the crusader theme.I wonder what the subclass specific AA's will bring in the next expansion?

The first rank brings us closer to enlightenment. The second aids our group. The third increases our power, though by a small amount, allowing us to become better tanks/healers/dps. The first one is simple, if you have a kite shield equipped, you can use a 2h weapon as if it were a 1h. Same delay, same stats, same damage, but you get a shield too. This idea comes from that whenever you see Mithanial Marr on the zoning screen, he always has a kite shield and a 2h claymore, so we should get the same. This would also help even out the dps difference between us and warriors.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The second part of the final AA gives us a nice burst of dps, at the cost of percentage power. When fully buffed, you would need about 117 in combat mana regen in order to counter the power drain, thats not likely gonna happen, so this isnt something that can be used too often, and the large initial power cost means you wont be likely to spam it. <DIV>The whole mit bonus for wielding a 2 hander is badass....I really hope we get some AAs later on that separate us from the warriors in the sense of us using a 2 handed weapon and it count as us using a sword / shield combo...I'll solo Naggy for a chance at having something like that (Heck, the Paladin epic weapons in EQ1 were 2 handers that acted as a sword / shield combo!)</DIV>

i would give 20AA points easy to weild a 2hander and a kite sheild i would bow to the god that is sow for bestowing that power, i would probobly at that point wake up and crse soes name to that fact that they had my dream and ripped it from my hands
