Funny thing while mentoring - DPS related

<DIV>Heh.. was mentoring my wife's swashy(lvl 50) the other day, and went over to rivervale to kill a couple of nameds..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So we went to oak matriarch, and pulled.. Got alot of adds.. but after a lil fighting I clicked on one(1) of my spell buttons, and I did 18450 dmg (spread out over the mobs of course).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thats one nice spell for mentoring.. hehe.. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Never seen so many numbers spread out before at once.. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>oh.. spell name of course.. castigate.</DIV>

<P>Taht kinda sounds like the numbers comin off of castigate in HoF inthe AOE room.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>I'm really not supprised at that number if you got as many adds as your implying. For one, Castigate Mastered (or even adepted) is damage based on:</DIV> <DIV>1. How many DIFFERENT debuffs you have on (ex. 1trama 1poison 1crushing ect.) If you had a full deal's worth of debuffs on=Hell's amount of dmg</DIV> <DIV>2. Because of reason 1, if you had something like 10+ adds--and each debuff at lv 70 (leaste from what I've been able to gauge) reaches about 500-700 dmg per debuff (uncriticaled)--thats alot of AoE dmg all around :smileyvery-happy:</DIV>
