<DIV>Does anyone else think it really silly that Paladins have a 4 stat dependence?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Paladins need Strength to hit hard with their autoattack and melee</DIV> <DIV>Paladins need Stamina to be able to take hits and have hitpoints</DIV> <DIV>Paladins need Intelligence for their Combat Arts and Spells to do damage</DIV> <DIV>Paladins need Wisdom to heal and ward</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Arguably Stamina is needed by all for hit points, but Paladins ARE tanks, so they WILL get hit.</DIV> <DIV>Someone can say that everyone needs Wisdom for their resists, but they don't have any affects on heals for most classes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Closest to this multistat dependency i think are the rogues and predators who need Intelligence for their procs, but they can (arguably) leave the focus off Stamina and Agility and go fully for Strength and Intelligence.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just a bit of a rant from a paladin who is getting annoyed at the hearing "I got all my main stats capped"</DIV>

I'd say bards are much closer to a pally then the other scouts. Troubs/dirges actually gain power from agility AND intelligence . Agility: power/avoidance intelligence: power/ increases spell arts (yes bards actually have spells unlike other scouts) stamina: needed by all classes strength: we also have melee based attacks, it also helps melee and ranged wisdom: coming from a PVP troub, wisdom is important to all classes.. anywho, thought id post that coming from a 70 troub who just betrayed his 35 sk over to a pally on a pvp server (also have a 59 pally on pve but havent touched him since pvp came out).. cheers, hobs <div></div>

More stats being useful is a GOOD thing not a bad thing. Being maxed out on all useful stats is boring. Always being able to improve in one area or another is fun.<div></div>

What the OP is saying is that toons like crusaders, bards, furies, etc have to juggle more stats than other toons.</P> <P>Lets take a guard or a temp for example.</P> <P>Guards basically only have to worry about STA and STRE</P> <P>Temps have to worry about WIS, or maybe STRE and STA. If we sacrifice WIS we lose power and resists. If we sacrifice STRE, we lose on meele damage and power.
