anyone else annoyed that these npcs get to wear Vanguard pauldrons?and they make our class specific armor that stupid looking chain, medium plate (AQ,Relic..etc)if our armor is supposed to have Mit of guardian/berserker armor, why the hell does it look like crap...and how is a beserker supposed to do DPS, in a plate coffin.../moan_off

I don't know about that.Though on a related note the quest reward for that is pretty cool. It is a great spear you can place in your house and once you do that you can click on it to get a 60 minute buff that gives 487 HP.Though I was rather disappointed that the quest didn't go anywhere after that.

Yeah, the quest *would* be cool... if only it wasn't bugged where you get stuck turning in the ring, but no ghost appears.

~Sir Hawke Holyblayde, Hero of Maj'Dul

I had that problem, I had to give it 2 times, and the marvo ghst dude spawned. Im not sure if you have to wait something.

I will also like some better look on the armor for a more vanguard look, we not chain users....

What is the name of the quest? Where does it start? Who gives the quest? And, finally, can you link the reward?

Thanks for the help.

Good hunting.

Justinious

The quest is called "Spear of Sentries" or something like that. It's given by Sir Bayden Cauldthorn in the Commonlands near the Graveyard zone line near Freeport. The quest was very easy, no killing (well except for yourself. . . you'll see) :smileywink but a part of the quest has to do with respect for life. I found the quest entertaining, and the reward is nice. Though I don't have a link to it, sorry about that

Sir Eragon Sterling

54 Paladin - Unrest

well-I basically did the quest in a matter of bout a hour-pretty quick-no quirks w/any of the npc pops or anything--but I think it would be real cool if we could acutally use the spear vs just having it for a 1 hour buff which really doesnt help anything when doing serious grouping or raiding
