<DIV>I know that historically Wisdom for all priest classes and Paladin's increase our Power, but so does INT and it also increased our damage for spells.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am confused on which to concentrate on? I am level 55 and both seem to do the trick.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.</DIV>

A paladin needs:STR/WIS for power poolSTR for melee DPSINT for spell DPSWIS for resistsSTA for healthAGI for avoidancecongratulations on your choice of the class that needs every stat. if you are tanking you dont really need int, but its nice to have. As a tank your job is to keep aggro and stay alive. So I would say sta+str+wis+agi are really important. If you are assist tank or soloing then I would go with a more balanced approach.<div></div>

i took mostly wis for resists for tanking and int for spells/procs, the rest i dabbled in and made up for what i was lacking with stats on equipment, works pretty good for me, i got killer mental/magic resists

<DIV>At 70, with legenday gear, I focus on well, mitigation for tanking, with STA hex dolls, and when DPS in raids, I try and cap out STR and INT. I dont worry much about WIS, STR gives more power per point, and my resist are clsoe to being capped when solo. The stats you need come with the gear though. Good tnak gear, will have STA and AGI on them, and good swords will have alot of STR</DIV>

<DIV>if you PVP the WIS is what i would focus on i mean pallys only get so many spelld where INT is helpful. WIS will add more to your resist lines </DIV>

<P>Only so many spells where int is helpful? You realize that only damage spells are not affected by our INT stat, the shield bash and the kick lines. And our heals are not affected by any stat</P> <P> </P> <P>Every other damage spell we have, is affected by how much INT we have</P>

If you have to choose between Wisdom or Intelligence, Then go with the int. Wisdom is nice for resists and such, but you can make up for that with specific resist gear you can change in and out as needed.

<DIV>I went like 8/4/4/4 in str:8 in sta: and 8/4/8/1 in int. Works well for me the critical spell increase is nice. and i still get a small chance for heal critical. </DIV>

<P>The stat breakdown is stickied on this forum I think... anyway you get more bang for your buck going with INT from an AA standpoint. INT is better for soloing, WIS better for grouping (since that line also has some nice group augmenting abilities down the line). Watch out for the caps, though, because if you are in Offensive stance you may well be over the cap for INT and STR and if you go Defensive your WIS is augmented heavily. (this is further support for my assertion: int is more relevant to offensive, wis to defense).</P> <P>Hakanek</P> <P>Unrest</P>
