In EQ1 it was called DEX...We lost our DEX crossin over to EQ2, so now AA is the way to go.<div></div>

Some have said Int does this - never tried it myself

Int does indeed increase spell crit/damage on damage spells.  I am unsure if it does the same for heal crits but i would assume so.As far as melee crits i know str increases outright damage, perhaps it increases crits too but wouldn't quote me on that.<div></div>

<BR> <BLOCKQUOTE> <HR> Parker01 wrote:<BR> <DIV>Can anyone tell me if there is a stat that increases melee and healing crits?  I know there are aa to do this, but am wondering if there are stats to increases both of these crits.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks.</DIV><BR> <HR> </BLOCKQUOTE>Melee and combat art damage is increased by bumping up strength, heals dont seem to be affected by int, but our spell damage and procs are affected by more int.  Neither stats will increase your critical chance, only spell buffs, potions, AA choices and a few pieces of gear can raise your critical chance.  Remember that you have a native 1% chance to crit on any of these and the other things stack on that.  For example, at my current AA selection and gear, I have AA choices that give me 11.1% melee and combat art crit chance, 34% spell and proc crit, 31% heal/ward crit.  I have the mark of awakening amulet for 2% additional melee and combat art crit with a wasted 2% ranged attack crit. I also have several grandmaster ptions that for 10 minutes will grant a 4% crit on spell damage and heals/wards.  I come native with 1% on melee/spell damage/heal and ward so if i combined them al on a tough fight it would be 14.1% melee/combat arts, 39% spell and proc damage crit, 36% heal and ward crit.  Your biggest bang would be to max out your crit chances in the Achievement system plus gain buffs from troubadours and such...<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><BR>
