Hey all,I've had the game ever since launch and I'm one of those types that fixates on one charecter and thats about it. I've had the same Iksar Paladin since day 1. I'm presently stuck at level 28, I have so so gear and just don't seem to know where to go or what to do. I'm mostly solo, so my question is this, do I reroll from scratch? Do I try to find solo instances and get xp that way? Do I try and run around with LFG on for hours on end? Please feel free to make suggestions or give me ideas to get out of my rut. I will post my stats when I get home (stuck at work for another 15 minutes). Thanks in advance!

If you prefer to solo, then there are solo mobs to be found in rivervale and enchanted lands that you can take on. If you actually wish to find a group.. you are a tank and it is easily done ! Don't put up lfg and wait endlessly for someone to invite you. Find a healer. You and a healer can form the core of a group, and the rest is dps. When I want a group, I find a healer of appropriate level, and then start looking for a scout of some sort for damage/pathfinding/tracking ability. Hell if you really want to find a group and no healers of appropriate level are lfg, do a /who all cleric 25 34. That will find you all inquisitors and templars of that lvl range, and you can start asking the ones that don't look like they are busy. I have met many good people this way. Some were just getting ready to lfg, some were not even thinking of a group but decided to come along anyway and have some fun. Also make sure that any people you find that are actually good at what they do you put on your friends list. This way you don't have to look so hard next time you want a group :smileyhappy: Bottom line is if you are a healer or a tank that knows how to play, you should never lack for a group. Healer and tank duo can take out quite a bit in this game just by themselves. Thundaarr Unrest <Nightcap>

They will be tough at first but will get easier as you level to 30 and beyond. There are TONS of quests to do in both, especially Zek.

If your gear is lacking, spend some time harvesting and selling the rares and farming the collection items in Antonica...the cracked bones can sell for huge amounts of cash! Then use the money you make to upgrade your stuff. You might want to wait until 30 though so you can buy the next teir upgrades rather than your current teir.

I would recommend Zek at your level. The mobs there start at 30 and drop some pretty good armor. As well, there are lots of quests in the dock/fort area that are good for xp and armor/gear. Most of them start out with you beating on the level 30 orcs right outside the fort.Once you have done all the intro quests that you can do (when they start getting too difficult), go to the Enchanted Lands and load up on all the quests in the dock area there. Mobs and intro quests there start at level 31.There are lots of solo mobs in the initial areas of both zones.

If you're looking for grouping options at 28, ROV is great, but you won't really be able to tank the golems most people want at the "camp" (the wandering golems are a different level and easier than the stationary ones in those two rooms) until 30+ mostly due to gear limitations. RE is tough for a 28 and most people want tanks over 35 for there, tho I've taken tanks as low as 33 as long as we stayed in the upper levels.

I suggest you take a step back and kill the higher level undead in TS. They go up to lvl 25 I believe (and Nek which have heroics up to 30). Since they are undead, you can probably solo the heroics until you hit 30. The moment you hit 30, upgrade ALL your armor to T4 armor. Do the same for your weapon(s). Once upgraded, go clean house in Enchanted Lands by doing all of the quests at the docks.

If you are going to solo then stick with undead whenever possible. You will hit a dry patch from 30 to 46 but will pick it up again from then on out.

my 2c -

Paehin

If you are soloing, undead are the best things for you to solo, period. All of your weapon procs do double dmg against undead. Thundaarr Unrest <Nightcap>
