<DIV> Hi, being a more casual player, and not planning on raiding, I was wondering what were the good options for a 1-hander slash. I hit 61 last night and am still using a Bixie Blade. I don't see much better than that on the brokers. I was wondering if there is something out there I should keep and eye out for and pounce on if it show up on broker regardless of price.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Also, is there a reason for a huge disparity between home broker (Qeynos) and fence (Freeport) prices? On my server, the fence regularly has Bixie Blades for around 90g to 1p. I check my Qeynos broker and there are about 3-4 of them from different people for anywhere from 2p to 3p. Odd.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Wyldric</DIV>

I'm not sure what better options there are for one-handers.  I used the blade of bixies for one handed until I hit 67, then I chose the Buhzaks Cleaver (I don't think I spelled it right).  I was in the same situation looking for a decent one hander for sword and board setup and ended up just staying with the bixie blade.

<DIV>Bixie blade is a good one hander until you can get the cleaver from POA (i think thats where it is, all the zones look the same hehe). Also, Drakeborn Bludgenor is a good choice for a 1h crush, and it can be used with the stamina AA Hammer Ground.</DIV>

<DIV>For two handers, Kettleleaders Katana is good 2 hander for that level range, it comes from a named in nest and can be bought very inexpensively on our broker on Befallen.  I got it from a drop, and subsequently won another in about 4 runs through the nest, so its relatively easy to come by.  I used it until recently as my 2 hander choice.  </DIV>

<DIV>If you are willing to go crush, then grizzlefazzle's mace is a nice choice.  It's a quest you get at Dreadnever and you need to clear Den of Devourer.  I forget the level of use but it's a nice T7 weapon.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>The Kettleaders Katana is a nice 2 handed sword from the nest and the ravasect voulge is a nice 2hander from the den.  The Doomwing Warfork is a nice two handed piercer from blackscale sepulcher i think and the drakeborn bludgeoner is a nice 1 handed crusher, the spirit gorged flail is a nice obtainable two handed crusher for hammer ground from the carnivigeon in bonemire or cheap off the broker.  The Claymore line yields some nice gear that can help you out in the group quests in that line.  The shortsword in blackscale with the ward proc is not bad for a quick delay weapon also.</DIV>

Various nice weapons can drop in HoF when you gain a few levels. (Most of those are req lev 67 or 6<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />:- Drakeborn Bludgeoner- A nice spear froom the named Abomination- A Good sword from Kakaltana (either legendary or fabled...the fabled one is just /drool for non raiders : damage rating 106 and a proc)

Blade and Axe of the Slashing Claw can usually be found on the broker for around 2p... good stats, decent damage and a damage procFor two handers, Blade of the Vault Keeper is rarer than Kettleleader's Katana, but owns it.  You also have a dcent shot of getting a kickass two hander from HoF if I remember correctly.  There is a two hander Blade of Desolation off of a ring event in SoS that is pretty nice.If you can get a pick-up raid for Labs, the Adamantine Doomhammer is really nice, priests who have prismatic 1 or 2 usually don't want it since it has no FT on it, and that leaves it for pallies and sks on most raids.  Great stats and damage and a very easy named epic easily handled by a pick-up raid.I got a cool fabled two hand crushed called War Maul of something from the raid for the Mark of the Awakened.  Most weekends you can find a pick-up raid for this quest, and if you haven't done it, start working on it.<div></div>
