I have noticed that a large amount of Paladin stats come from temporary sources, buffs, stances, food, etc. how does that work out later, in the 60-70 range? If stats cap at 420, how much of that should be coming from permanent sources like AA points, gear, and natural values versus buffs etc?

Unless I am mistaken, which could be happens more than I like to admit.

I think the cap is 7 times your level. Or at least It was /shrug.

7 * Level + Racial Base (or might just be +20)If youre over that you get no benefit from the stat EXCEPT for Str and Int, which continue to increase damage.

No, once you reach the cap they contribute nothing... no damage... nothing.Well I lie; if you are debuffed by 40 and you are 60 over the cap you are still stat capped but other than that nothing.EDIT:well the "soft cap" is 7*level and the stats contribute to you as normal however the +20 additional points between the final stat cap (called the hard cap) the benifit for increase the stat from the softcap to the hard cap is drastically reduced.

Message Edited by boli on 05-18-2006 04:02 PM

I thought the cap was 7*lvl+20 (or 510 at 70), but I could be mistaken.

As an aside, is there a stat cap on Mitigation, Avoidance or Resists?

Good hunting.

Justinious
