Hello all, I am just posting today to come and say, "Hello!" to the paladin world. I have recently rolled a paladin and let me tell you why i like this class.Maybe I don't kill all that fast, but i survive, and that is important to me.My fights take more time, but i have fun during them! And Everquest 2 is a game, right? And games are all about FUN!!!I can lead my group through the tougest battles.I can get a good-looking warhorse at level 20.I can even keep a group alive if needed by heals.I am looking forward to amends, and wards.I LOVE THIS CLASS.In the past, I have rerolled every char as soon as i hit lvl 12ish, well I have found the class. If I could get some advice on ways to get a little coin for weapons and armor, or good quests that provide them. Lastly, I enjoy the Roleplaying of this. I love Swords and Sheilds and heavy armor but gaurds are just too boring (no offence gaurds, you are GREAT tanks, but not my style) So i am loving this class, at only level 5.Hello Paladins,Sanith, Level 5 Paladin of Unrest.<div></div>

<DIV>Welcome to the fold.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for good cash acquisition, just do every quest you can get (of appropriate level) and get some large capacity bags as soon as you can. (You'll want to hold on to and sell everything you get while out smiting evil, without having to take a break to go sell).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't know any get-rich-quick info, but generally a healthy mix of questing and grinding will get you enough cash to survive on. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>~Sir Hawke Holyblayde, Paragon of Truth</DIV>

You might consider crafting for income- and as an armorer, alchemist or weaponsmith, you could make your own upgrades, which will in turn save you money.  The market for lower level crafted stuff is there if you have enough to invest in rares to get started.   Ask on the crafting chat channel for some tips- most crafters are pretty cool and willing to help. At level 20 you can do the armor quests in QH from Ian Cathlan- not the best stuff, but very decent and good quest xp.  Not to encourage farming, but when you are of level to solo nameds in SH or RoV you can get masters and legendary loot to sell.  One thing I have to say is your capacity to solo diminishes as you level.    I can solo mobs that some classes cannot, but it takes a very long time.  Solo xp as a paladin starts to seriously suck after level 20 and gets worse as you advance. <div></div>

<P>Welcome fellow Paladin=)</P> <P>The Caves have your best bet for armor quests early on.  In order to make yourself some money BUY A MARKET BOARD and set it up in your inn room immediately.  Before selling any item to a merchant for coin, check your market board and see what players are charging for it... many items are valuable to players, but not to NPC merchants.  You can sell items from your store even while you are offline or adventuring!!  Secondly, harvest the bushes, roots, ores, fallen timber, and "?" whenever you can.  Many of the proceeds are valuable to players.</P> <P>Good luck!</P>

To keep your interest I woudl recomend allways grabbing a good Two-Handed weapon as well as the usual "sword and board" at the start of each tier. While it may be tempting to stay behind the illusion of invulrability it is sometimes nice to crank out the 2H and lay into a mob with everything you have got. <div></div>

To get money, the easiest way for lowbies is to sell collectables, the '?' symbols you see around. They sell well because rich players with alts buy sets to get fast xp for the alts.Examples of good places to farm would be Wailing Caves (beetles and orc bones) and Stormhold. The '?' collectables spawn in similar areas each time. Then sell on the broker. You can get 1g to 10g per item, depending on the item. Also selling crafting raws can pay, in particular roots, though not as well.
