Weapon choice?

What weapons you should use depends on the mob you are fighting and the stats of your weapon.  At 70 when I'm solointg I mostly use my 2 hander, due in large part to the fact that it is fabled and provides a considerable increase in damage over my 1 hander.  It also has a huge amount of str sta and agi.  Back in t6 though I spent most of my time with the sword and shield, even when soloing.  Back then there simply wasn't a big enough difference in damage between a 1 hander and 2 hander, especially since going sword/shield to 2hd resulted in losing str too.  Your setup sounds pretty good actually.  You're probably on par or ahead of most people with that setup.  But your outlook will change depending on what gear you end up getting a hold of.<div></div>

At 70 I still use Rahotep's when MT'ing.  Granted 200 heal isn't alot but it can help some, plus I haven't really seen that many 1 handers that I like atm.  Soloing or non MT'ing I use the 2hander from the Trials in SoS(forget name atm, but it has the 500ish Proc).  Carry some other stuff that I use on occasion based on need and my mood hehe.

I had 12 weapons that I carried around as of yesterday. I finally retired 4 of them to bring me down to 8. I use every single one of these at one time or another, so that is why they always remain with me: 2-Hand: Fleshripper - Looks cool and I can use the haste AA off of the str line Doomwing Warfork - Again looks cool - for piercing as well (better dmg rating than fleshripper) The Doomcrusher - Hammer for Hammer Ground AA from Stam line. Plus it looks awesome. (seeing a theme here?) Blade of Desolation - Dark red Katana, tho I do hate that they moved it to the back instead of hip when resting. Best dmg rating I have plus proc. Its fun. I am usually either using the BoD or Doomcrusher when 2h, but throw the other two on for fun when I'm soloing really easy mobs. 1-Hand: Brakzar's Cleaver - Just picked up last night. Nice ratio, can use haste AA with this, plus Regen! Drakeborn Bludgener - great ratio, can be used with hammer ground. My usual pick for MTing for use with hammer ground. Patternspinner - Yeah, its not the best ratio, and the stats are lower than anything else I have, but it has FT. So when I need to be standing back in range and spamming CA's/heals, this is the weapon I strap on for the extra FT. Just a taste of what an average pally is using. <div></div>

I used to carry around several weapons.  Over time, I've retired all except Kettleleader's Katana (two-handed)  and the Blade of the Bixies.  When tanking, I use the Blade of the Bixies and Sundergard in defensive stance.  Soloing or just playing off-tank, I'll generally use the Katana, dependent upon how tough the encounter seems to be.

I dinged 59 about three nights ago. I used my Prismatic 1HS exclusively (as opposed the 8 weapons Leawyn uses <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />)I am finding that the +12 from the Prismatic and the +4 Flowing Thought from my pants have pretty much taken care of my Paladin Power issues. Oh, and I have a 2HS, but I never solo. It's rusty. <div></div>
