Wow that is really nice.  Kinda disappointed that the effect reduces the cast time on something I would rarely use in a raid but still very nice none the less.<div></div>

Not while tanking.  The hate to power ratio is too low.  When tanking my only concern is staying alive and keeping agro.  Big nukes use too much power.  Now when I'm not tanking I might use it but that depends on my role in the raid often I'm in a role where DPS is not my concern so I would still not use it.  But there are times when I get to relax and just be DPS which is when that would really come in handy.  And in groups that will be really great.<div></div>

<div></div>I agree with you  ... its not a spell I use a whole lot while tanking, and yes I tank raids . That said, I am guessing over a whole suit  you will get reductions accross a variety of spells, so probabaly fit for many purposes, giving you felxability to jump tank, dps, or MAAnyway, I think the "look" is a big immprovement over T6 - lets hope we get some more consistent sets of armor thorugh T7. The idea of having different sets in T6 was nice (eventhough some were ugly as hell) but there was not a lot of co-ordination in appearence , and in reality noone was going to collect o whole set of one type<div></div><p>Message Edited by Superhoover on <span class="date_text">03-13-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:05 PM</span></p>

Yeah I would love to see the other pieces vs the guard relic armor.  Hopefully this will not be yet another area where guards are getting an edge in tanking and we are given an edge in utility and DPS.<div></div>

<div>So itake it that the total mitigation on this armor on our personas screen would place it around 584 mitigation with 1/3 times 140 piercing?  That armor looks very nice and the 16 sec reduction on our highest nuke is nice, especially in group situation where we will usually get reduction on spell casting from other classes.  I hear some pallies complaining about our dps but right there we have a boost to our dps that doesnt involve imbueing our legs with a heat attack that also grabs agro while we are trying to train places or run from a possable wipe area...<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  I am really looking forward to what the chest piece looks like and was wondering what are the gem requirements for the seven pieces of armor, are they the same as the shadowknight side?</div><div> </div>

<div></div>I got some concers about this armor. From the picture it looks like you can see your boots too. That means our class specific armor isnt vanguard look, that is the suck!Also, both berserker and guardian gets plus vs crush slash and pierce on their armor. Pallies do not.I dont like this one bit. Well I checked out the Guard armor and like ours it just reduces the cast times on DD based abilities.  So I guess this is not too bad.  I think depending on the effects on some of the other raid dropped loot these might be used more when we are in a DPS role and other BPs/pants would be better suited for tanking.  Though the stats are still pretty nice and would work out well for tanking as well.<div></div>

<P>All the tank classes relic suits give the exact same amount of mitigation.   Each piece has the same base mitigation, the +vs crush/slash/pierce is spread out between differant pieces though.  i.e.   Guards may get a +60vs pierce on gloves,  while we dont get any added mit on gloves,   but our boots woul have +60 vs pierce, while theirs doesnt have any added bonuses.</P> <P> </P> <P>Only chest and legs have any effect on spells.  They each reduce the casting timer of one spell,  one is the refusal nuke  (I have hit for over 3700 with this spell in a raid, and over 3k in a group)  And the other piece reduces the cast timer of our 24 second DOT,  reduces the timer to 36 seconds I think, so it can almost be chain casted.</P>

Are people still seeing relic drop?  Especially plate?  We are in Labs every week, and other zones as well and in 4 months we have only had 3 pieces of plate drop (head, arms, boots).  We may see a piece of relic every other week... maybe.

They still drop...We were amazed when we got 4 relic drops clearing labs last night. It still happens just is very very rare now.

<P>my understanding is  the greaves/pants are the hardest to find, not sure.....   i do know they nerfed the labs hard, and it sucks for guilds just getting enough higher level toons to start thinking of raiding it.. seems unfare that they do it this late, so now what does a guild do for armor to be able to tank the named in labs... claymore questline is pretty much out of the question on a pvp server at the moment.. </P> <P>  raid t6 for plate?</P>

Next. go to palace of awakened,on the the second or third floor i cant exactly remember, believe its the third floor, and camp the dragons, the doomwing scarize centurions needed for the blood of the brood are under a platform where the doomwings are, you kill them then the dragon will pop... the dragons drop scalelord plate armor, not everytime but pretty routinely,which is a very nice upgrade to xego cr_ap..
