The Ravesect scythe doesn't have the +4 to defense but the stats are so good on it you also do not need a shield to main tank with it. <div></div><p>I'm gonna have to agree, you would be very stupid to give up a shield on tanking.  First off, the extra dps a two hander will give you imo is not gonna be sufficient to the stun/taunt the shield bash does.  Plus, the grizzlefazzles shield is just way cool.  Over 1200 protection, tons of stats, 6 parry, 6 defense, bonuses to crushing slashing piercing. This bad boy is just wicked.   Even if you didn't have it, there are a ton of shields in t7 with bonus resists, and defensive stats etc.  I've already got rid of my crimson rock targes and aeges of true defense etc from backup gear and gotten plenty more for backup if i ever have to but that Grizzlefazzles is holding true. </p><p> </p>

<div></div><div>The only 1hander I found thats worth anything was the Scalesplitter and i bought that off the broker.  I found out later that its from the Sanctum but I dont know which Named drops it.  I did the dumb thing and chose the 2h Grizzlefazzles when I should of chosen the shield.  I already had the Kettleleaders Katana so I just plain screwed up.  I think its time to try and get the 2hander from the Palace to make me feel better.:smileyvery-happy:</div>

<div></div><p>Found some new toys, a new nice 2 handed sword I use.</p><p>And a nice one handed ! ... will link them when I get home.</p><p>Ohh and about the fire effect ... photoshop ... hehe I am so evil, would be cool though. On the good side is that there are weapons that drops that has really cool effects and looks. IMO this expansion has seen a major improvement on item looks. Still looks lika a patch work but with nicer looking items hehe..</p>

I have seen Blades of the Bixies. Which is insanely good for its level. ((Level 58 with a 62.0 Damage rating)) combined that with a shield and it does pretty good damage. I've been using the Blade of the Bixies with a shield in offensive stance and I am liking it alot for soloing. There was another one I saw with a 68 damage rating ((but a required level of 68. Also a legendary weapon)). Either way these are ages ahead of most cobalt weapons as you move into tier7. A named in Labs drops the Hammer I am using...I believe it's like 78/79 damage rating.....I wish it had a proc on it, and the stats are worse then a legandary hammer that I have, but the damage rating is pretty nice.
