New Paladin Look for AQ armor?

At least compared ot the other classes - <a href="http://www.eq2test.com/download.php?id=96" target=_blank>Templar</a> and <a href="http://www.eq2test.com/download.php?id=102" target=_blank>Guardian</a> come to mind. <div></div>

Paladins get the F'ing shaft constantlyOur horse was nerfed, which was fine, because it was so dam ugly who would ride it?We can't use bows or duel wield or use many piercers or crushersUnlike every other class we NEED to try to maximize EVERY abilityOur DPS blowsOur heals suckOur rez was nerfedWe're supposed to have the largest power pool (we don't) but the smallest health pool (we do)Everybody screams for us to be nerfed, and the Devs listen!Now they want to give us faerie armor to go with our my little ponies...So not only do Templars look cooler than us, they outheal us, out DPS us (if not, its dam close)You know I never have had any interest in playing anything but a paladin, but SOE is pushing me to either (1) reroll or (2) just outright quit.  I'm hearing GREAT things from guildies in DDO beta and stress-test.<div></div>

Yes, I know Templars are going to outheal us...  The running joke in our guild is we are cleridans... not really tanks but a new class of healer, and as such we blow lol.  Rather than complain how much better zerks and guards are, we complain how we are inferior to templars.<div></div>

<DIV>well i dont really care much about my heals, im kind of mad that we have the lowest hp of the tanks ive put alot into my health to make up for it, and i really dont see us having the highest power pool of the other tanks. my mit and avoidance are fine ive even managed to get my avoidance as high as 48 when buffed in partys my mit is fine, just cant do decent dps, i dont even use any of my abilities besides my taunts there just a waste of power sometimes i use them for the occasional H/O but thats it, why use them when they are just going to do the same dmg as one of my normal attacks wtich isnt more then 100 most of the time. inless its like blue or lower.. we have all these stupid buffs that are like 8% chance to deal 80-140 divine dmg on strike, there just useless maybe if soe made those better that could be our dps.</DIV>

I saw the paladin shot and I thought that it wasn't too bad, a marked improvement over the originaql AQ gear.  Then I saw the templar and guard stuff.  And wowee is it nice looking.  Wish high end armor were that cool.  <div></div>

i like the look of the armor. it's very elegant and regal. i plan on using my set for formal wear. however, i am not pleased with the name of the armor being "of the Squire" or whatever it is. by level 20, are we not more than a squire? <div></div>

Yeah, this new armor is pretty crappy, but as to the poster above who said palladins are near the same level dps as templars, well they obviously don't play a templar.  Templars have absolutely terrible dps, it's not even close.  If you want to compare to a healer's dps, maybe the furies will come close, though I imagine they will get nerfed soon.
