SOE,For the love of jum jum, PLEASE change the Cobalt (and Ebon) back to the way it used to look before LU16. I look like I bought this armor from Wal-Mart!Thanks,Corin (57 Paladin of Lucan)

what are you nuts? Cobalt is finally Cobalt blue. Now is does look a little plasticy but that is the nature of it. It could use a bit more detailing maybe in the rivits and some kind of pattern on the BP that stands out a bit. But overall it is a nice imporvement from the black with a blue wash thrown on it. Also the chain areas is a nice touch makes it look more like relistic armor with chain at the joints. This is what I expected Cobalt to look like day one of DoF with minor changes to make it look a little better over the next few patches. I think of this patch it is one of the things SOE did right for a change. The SOGA models are a nightmare. <div></div>

<div></div>What color did you think Cobalt was.cobalt #3D59AB make a simple HTML page in a text editor<body bgcolor=#3D59AB></body>Guess what that page will be blue when you load it.Style wise sure it could use some work not to mention some sort of surface textures. I would have been happier with the old model with the new color as the surface texture and angles would break up the reflective surface and make it look less like plastic. The Color is right now the money there may be other issues but this is a step in the right directions.<div></div>

Yes the more I have looked at it and looked at other screen shots, well it is a work in progress. But the color is right on the mark. As I have said before that was what I expected cobalt armor to look like when DoF went live. Now if we can get the base model looking better maybe some texture to offset the shine/plastic look. Then we will have armor to be proud of. <div></div>

No rar, before the blue was almost black. I like the new blue, just not as glossy looking. Flap like the old armor, yes. How about some engraving detail on the chest? Chitin and Indium have them (or did before today's patch in case they changed it and I haven't seen it). And yes, I would take the old look of cobalt over this every day and twice on Sunday.<div></div>

I could care less about the colour - and yes cobalt is cobalt blue yada yada - however that doesn't mean anything when you are running around with your bum waving in the wind and your pubic bone pointing the way so to speak. And seriously what sort of plate wearer/tank would run around battling hideous creatures with their very soft and squishy nether regions exposed? Wouldn't the mobs just kick us in the cods - male and female alike - then rip our groups to pieces =D??? What exactly was WRONG with the armour after the last update? It looked fine to me, it looked blue enough to me - could have been a tad lighter for those whose vid cards weren't showing it as blue - but the skin was fine. Was it the whiney babies complaining about the flap? Well congrats - may you enjoy running around barearsed with your wobbly bits flapping in the breeze! I already think it was lazy of SOE not to introduce a new design for T6 armor, but the change of that blue cobalt really tops it... I kid you not, but I -honestly- thought I was having a graphical error when I saw a Paladin come by. It reminded me of the early days where it happened that certain types of armor were displayed incorrect. Blue is ok, but not if it lacks texture and looks plastic like an action figure. <div></div>
