So everytime I see a pally ingame I try and inspect to see what armour, weapons etc they are wearning and using. Any helpful hints on the best kind of armour/weapons/spells I should be using - between level 20-30 (am currently lvl21) . Also any Quests I should be picking up to get good rewards for completing. Finally what kinda rares should I be keeping that make good items for pallys. ta, Barbosa (on spitpaw)

You could start by doing the armor quest. There's one for each type of armor. The xp is pretty good and will get you to lvl 30.

Aye that's what I would do also. You could get rare stuff made for the 20's but will lvl out of it pretty fast. The AQ's are nice stuff into the 30's and the exp is nice from them

For T3 zones (20-30), common crafted gear is fine--think that tier is Carbonite, and the rare is Steel. You aren't going to be in the tier long enough to justify the expense of buying rare carfted armor, unless you just happen to harvest some steel clusters. Even then you may do better to sell them and bank the coin to buy Feysteel (T4 Rare) at Level 30. If you do pop for rare crafted armor or weapons, by all means spend the extra coin to have your BP, Legs, and Weapon(s) imbued. Any rare is good to find, you can either have something made from it, or sell it for decent coin. Rough Jasper or Palladium is needed for T3 Adept 3 spells or rare crafted jewelry. Palladium is also used in the manastone heritage quest, so it sells better than jasper. Steel is good for weapons or armor. Dandelion fiber makes hex dolls. Fir makes shields or crushing weapons. For quests,at least two heritage quests are available at this level--Dwarven Work Boots (Starts with the dwarf in Keep of Ardent Needle in Antonica) and Polished Granite Tomahawk (must speak giant language first, then hail Obsid Boulderboom in Giant area). The boots are ok...they come in the armor type appropriate to your class, and you may wear them a few levels. Afterwards you can sell them for nice coin or mount them to display in your inn room. PGT is a standard tanking weapon. It has a couple of very usefull spell effects on it--a ward and power gain. Many tanks continue to use this all the way to 50 and beyond.

the armor quest armor is supperior to the player crafted common armor (carbonite vanguard) in mit...

if u can get yer hands on some steel (player crafted and imbued) that would be good but don't blow a ton of money on it...yer 20's will be over before you know it and the armor quest armor will do just fine (and it's free! - if you don't count the possibility of dying a few times along the 6 different quests)

imbued rings are a good thing to have too...get one of each type, even if you don't wear them all the time, you can equip one, cast the buff (right clicking on the ring) then equip then next one and repeat...after all that is done you can equip whatever rings give you the best buffs...hex dolls are good too...

get yerself some power regen potions too (i don't know if they have any for lvls 20-30 tho), those come in handy quite often :smileywink:
