They are used in a heal spell you get a couple of levels after u get the spell that summons them. Each time you cast devout sacrement you use one up. You will only ever need a couple of stacks of them - destroy the rest unless you have bigger bags than I do lol

Krussh

aye, and 5% chance to summon one when hit my butt. More like 75% hehe. Though I do get hit alot. I destroy stack after stack of these some times

I never carry more than 1 stack... seen someone selling them on broker, wonder who buy them? :smileytongue:

It's actually kinda annoying after a long hunt or raid... needing to destroy stack after stack of these (gotta complain about something on these boards, that much I have learned).

I tried selling them for 3c but no one wants them. Maybe I lower the price to 1 c.

I have thousands. Literally. Goes to show how whack the recast timer is on that heal and how nerfed it is.

I don't think the skill is nerfed at all. I like it, it's a nice supplement to Devout Aid. If the recast on it was any lower, people wouldn't use the normal heal on themselfes much, and it would create a scream from all other classes that pallys are overpowered.

At lvl 44 my Devout Sacrament heals for 940-1149 (A3), imagine that heal every 5 secs like Devout Aid....

The fact that you have alot of "healing ammo" doesn't mean that the skill is nerfed.

That's what I was talkin' about. The only time you're ever going to REALLY need that spell, the chances of getting it off are going to be very low. And if you try and get interrupted due to the elapsed time you've lost the fight.

I belive that 5 minutes is WAY to long.

MY suggestion? make it equivical to the shadowknights in casting time and recast.

SK's get to use their pet (from theit summoned stone consudming spell) that lasts for 30 seconds witha 30 second recast, while the paladin's self heal has a 5 minute reuse timer.

Im not certain on the casting time to summon their pet, but im thinking it is less than 3 secondsjust from eyeballing it while grouped with a SK.

Ill serch boards later for a pic of the spell to confirm it though.

Puting the self-heal on a 30 second reuse timer would make it much more usefull imo, and would improve the reason to have paladin's as a main tank in raids and such (since it's self only, and u cant cast on others, would help paladin's get the main tank role, not that it's a huge deal to me anyhow).

shouldnt really overpower paladin's for soloing and such, since it doe shave a rather large power cost.

Toodles!

PS speaking on be1/2 of my paladin friend

You could use them to wallpaper your house if SOE would let you, otherwise they do nothing. Long recast, too much power consumption for an item you have in your bag. I posted about them after yours (I should read more carefully), but I think the items are useless.

That and a coffee will get me a coffee.

If you throw them across the top of the water just right, they'll skip a couple times. My personal record is 5 skips.

This spell USED to be so great, it was my main heal. Now it is useless...

We could fill the river bed in TS with them.
