<DIV> <DIV>With the advent of getting + strength for our Offensive Stances, I'm wondering how much we actually gained.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know for certain that last night my Adept III refusal of grace was doing a max of around 678 points of damage where before it was around 716. I didn't change gear or anything so it is very unclear to me why that should be the case.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I read someone else stating that auto-attack damage had been reduced. I'm not sure if that is actually true or not.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm just wondering if the one hand gave in a very obvious way while the other hand took away in somewhat less obvious ways. I did not personally notice my soloing going noticeably easier yesterday but then I had reasonably high strength to start with (about 4 points / level).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Perhaps the refusal of grace decrease was from leveling :smileysurprised:. I know my avoidance inches up within a level and then drops back down when I have leveled.</DIV></DIV>

SOE is working on a fix, you can find more about that <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=spellart&message.id=64066#M64066" target=_blank>here</a></span><div></div>

<DIV>yes, gaining a level decreases the raw intelligence bonus that you get.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is because intelligence bonus is a set %, like at 0 int, its 0%, and at max int, its X% (30% or whatever). So at level 50 max int is 350, but at level 60 max int is 420. The bonus received at 350 int at level 50 is the same as the bonus received at level 60 and 420 int. So if you gain a level and don't also increase your intelligence, your spells will drop in damage a bit.</DIV>

<DIV>Thanks for the explanation. At least SOE recognizes that what they have now is a <STRONG>bad</STRONG> thing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That still leaves the question about whether auto-attack damage was really nerfed or not. Since I don't go out and do parses, I have no idea one way or the other.</DIV>

auto-attack damage was decreased on epics (x2, x3, x4) ... but when you factor in the t6 armor stat changes, if your wearing crafted armor, auto-attack damage is down across the board ('cause your mit is higher). <div></div>
