So looking back on the message telling that all the old training abilities are being removed, does that mean that I can play for awhile before I must make choices on the new traits I want?

I didn't see that in the message. If that is true, then I can learn more about what is available and not choose blindly (not knowing what choices I will have in the future).

That was my main concern.

Yes, you can play without doing the respec (just ignore the + sign) until you are ready. But you will get another chance to respec next week when bonus xp is turned back off, so you might as well take a first best guess at your choices asap.

What do the veteran paladins recommend for upgrading the spells to Master II's? I don't want to upgrade something then find out I get a new and better ability within the next few levels...

There is a 14 level progression to upgrades, so picking the HIGHEST level Master II will get you the one that will last you the longest. example: a lv 42 spell will get replaced at 56, etc.

I haven't seen any advice yet on what the best upgrade path would be for the training options... what does everyone think the best choices are for the Master II upgrades?

For the stat/ability choices, I don't quite get the logic of picking the health power pool. If you do the math, it's pathetic. If it's a 2.5% increase, then if you apply that to a high level paladin's pool, you end up with about 100 or so extra hits, which is meaningless really (4000 x 2.5% = 100). I'd think any choice BUT that one would be better. The power pool choice would at least give you enough additional power to throw a heal, which would give you back a lot more than 100 hits...

For most of the stat choices, you really need to extrapolate it out to what effect it has at lvl 50 and above, to see if it's significant or not. It seems to me that these stat/ability choices have a pretty minor effect in the end, so the good news is, choosing wrong won't hurt you much, but the bad news is, choosing right won't help that much. :manhappy:

Are the 3% increases to total hit points and hp/mana regens all cumulative?

Will 3x3% increases to total hp = 9%, will 2x5/tick regens = 10/tick regen? It wouldnt be good to get three of the same only to find that only the highest counted! :smileysad:
