First Feysteel cluster

<DIV>I'm level 30 and I just got my first feysteel cluster.  I am trying to decide what to use it on.  I have upgraded all my armor to feyiron with imbued chest and legs but my weapons are still carbonite weapons, I havent upgraded them yet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Should I use it on armor or a weapon.  My first thought was to get a weapon made since I haven't upgraded my weapons yet.  If I should get a weapon, should I get a 1 or 2 hand feysteel weapon?  I was thinking about doing the shiny brass halbard quest for my 2 hander and having a 1 hander made from the feysteel.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Decesions, Decesions</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Safe travels,</DIV>

<P>I would make armor.  You are a tank not a dps class.</P> <P>Legs, Chest, Shoulders in that order.</P> <P>There are many good weapons and inbued feyiron procs just as much as imbued feysteel.</P> <P>Feysteel armor is the best non-fabled you can equip until Ebon at 40.  I wore some of my slots until 44.  I simply could not find a better item for sale until i replaced it with Ebon.</P> <P>Feysteel armor is well worth the investment IMO.</P>

<div></div>I agree with Sun-Tsu except for the order he suggested.  I'd go with the  Imbued BP first, for the heal over time proc, then  Imbued legs for damage proc, then shoulders, forearms, weapon (2-handed--since you probably use PGT or similar 1 hander for tanking). If you are going to spend the coin/rare on armor, by all means spend the extra coin for Imbued versions of the BP/Legs/Weapon.  That healing proc has saved me by keeping me alive long enough to cast a heal/land a killing blow with no power more times than I can count.  The damage procs generate extra aggro for ya. <p>Message Edited by Oakbrow on <span class=date_text>08-04-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:36 AM</span>

<P>Here is my view.</P> <P>If your doing Ghoulbane, get an imbued BP made. That is exactly what I did. The imbued feysteel longsword is very close to GB, probably equals it's damage on non undead. But Ig your guilded and doing the GB then that is pretty much all the sword you will need from 32 to about 41.</P> <P>If your NOT doing Ghoulbane and you tank a lot, consider an imbued BP or an imbued Feysteel longsword (assuming you like longswords) or Assault Axe (if your the number cruncher type). Were it me I would get the weapon since you already have invested in a set of armor. The weapon has nothing really better exept Ghoulbame and nothing better if you get the assault axe exept maybe fabled weapons I have never seen.</P> <DIV>But it is <EM>really</EM> a close draw between the BP and a weapon. Your call depending on your style of play. <DIV>The responces so far make we wish I hadn't spent the 12 gold on my imbued feyiron BP.  Then I would have gotten a BP made for sure.  I solo at least 50% of the time which make a weapon a little more important than when tanking for a group.  The other factor is going to be how cheaply I can find someone to make the BP for me.  I have a weaponsmith in my guild that will make me the weapon for free.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>peace</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Tough call... I'm a Weaponsmith and I had my guild's armorer make me imbued feysteel BP and legs before I made myself a weapon. I now wield an imbued feysteel assault axe, though. If you're short on cash and don't anticipate completing a HQ for a nice weapon, or having the cash (or luck) to get another feysteel soon, then I would have the weapon made. Assault axe + nice shield will get you better stats than almost any 2H weapon. <div></div>

I would strongly recommend the imbued feysteel bp. Ask around. Do a /whoall armorer. Just because they don't have the LFW tag up, doesn't mean they won't take the commission. I had it made for about 5gp (I provided rare and extract). Get your feysteel imbued bp and complete Ghoulbane. You can almost always find help with GB on most servers, and as has been said, it is a great weapon.

does "/who all armorer 30 40" work these days?  last time i checked, that would return a 35 pally/25 armorer, but not a 25 pally/35 armorer (it was using adventurer level to filter). <div></div>

/grumble ... i'd love to talk to the dev who thought a listing of all the adventurer levels (or a subset based on adventure level) for all armorers currently logged on was useful ... <div></div>
