pretty sure i chose increased power pool as we are a bit power hungry with the taunts etc

Well, 2.5% of 2000 power at 50 is 50 power. That's one extra taunt, or less than 1/2 a heal. I agree power is the way to go, but I'd go with the regen so that you can chain-pull faster without medding as much.

As a Pally, always always always go with power regen. You can increase HP with Stamina You can increase power with Str/Wis Health regen, well we can heal ourselves, so thats not a big thing. Power regen > all - in my opinion

My personal choice was HP. the Power and HP regena re otuside of combat only so its not a big deal. And I do have more HP then Power so +2.5%HP give me more HP then +% power would add power.

But its just me and I am from EQ1. So I tend to always chose +HP over anything.

At 22, power regen will absolutely serve you best. Nothing you can buy exept drink helps power regen and the ability to regain power fast is crucial in ALL aspects of the game, combat or crafting. At level 22 there more than enough equipment out there to boost HP and power totals but nothing that helps power regen. And at that level the 5 points a tick make a very nice difference in your regen rate.

And lets be honest, the game is such that you don't need to have every last possible little HP buff to survive in. Adding in the power regen just means you can have more fun, more consistantly with less down time.

Get it now where it will do the most good.

Message Edited by GilfalasElaandrin on 07-21-2005 11:18 AM

I was just curious but do you ever get this selection again after level 22 such as what happens with racial traditions?

I beleive that this particular training option does come up again, yes, though I apologize for not being able to provide the level at which it happens. Go with Power Regen and you can't go wrong, even the increased Power Pool, while minimal, has some advantage... Just not nearly as much as increased Regen.

Just for your information, you get the same set of hp/power character trait choices at 42 after your first choice at 22. You get to upgrade character traits for atrributes 3 times and resistances 3 times.
