<DIV>Hi again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am writing a new thred, cause I am curious as to wheather to get lower Tier skills as Adept 3. Are there any Tier 1,2,3 and 4 skills worth using a rare on? Are there any of those you still use like crazy once you reach Tier 5, or do we get a full line of upgrades anyways?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for your feedback!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>As a disclaimer, proposed changes may render spells that are grey useless. Further, all this information will likely become bunk once that change takes place. With that in mind, here's my experience:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At tier 3, many paladins still use the spell "Redemption" (single target, 2 conc. aggro transfer spell). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At level 30 training, paladins still use both healing spells (Renar's, the blessed aid upgrade because it's effeciency, or Jess, the lay on hands upgrade, because it's faster and our t5 one is broken and does not upgrade, whichever one they chose). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At tier 4, there are only 5 spells which do not get upgraded naturally. </DIV> <DIV>1) Call of Glory - you might choose the training upgrade to this, but there's no natural upgrade. </DIV> <DIV>2) Righteous Cause - adept 3 doesn't increase damage very much, unfortunately</DIV> <DIV>3) Shatter Will - I'd recommend getting this if opals/ruth are cheap. Increases damage by 50 for a very minimal mana increase. It rarely misses and is a fairly mana efficient spells which triggers an HO (5 damage/power).</DIV> <DIV>4) Blessing of the Devout - you don't even get 10 hp from the upgrade</DIV> <DIV>5) Doom Judgment - good spell if you like spamming damage. very nice AoE and you don't get this spell without buying a crafted version so you might as well buy the nicer version of it</DIV>

<DIV>Redemption is WELL worth it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Some folks say the difference between adept 1 and adept 3 is not worth it. Simply put. THERE IS NO UPGRADE TO REDEMPTION. Thus means, adept 3 it. I do not forsee SOE removing this from our line if your concern is over whether it greys out. They will simply adjust the mastery range of the spell out so that it doesn't go grey. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lets put it this way, if redemption mastery popped up on the broker for 10p on my server I would buy it. It is our many tool for managing agro. </DIV> <DIV>Sure if you intend on only playing the game to 50 and never do any raids and rarely group beyond 2 or 3 folks, you can go the pure dps route. If you even remotely think you will participate in any of the above. redemption at adept 3 is a must have. </DIV>

All Adept III spells and combat arts greatly increase the effectiveness of the starter spell or art, usually by a factor of 2 or more. The best way to find out about upcoming changes is to make a character on the test server. The experience on the test server is quadruple so lvling is easy.
