<DIV>As most know the combat revamp is coming soon. The thing I would like to ensure as paladins we keep our existing skills of agro management intact.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Currently, as most new paladins do not understand our full functionality. Paladins are agro managers. We do not simply just create hate. Agro management is one thing a few folks disreguard and toss off as unimportant. Speaking from seeing the effects of true agro management. They are very important. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Our current line of skills for agro production we have taunts, agro transferance, damage, and then our defense buff that adds 2% hate. When utilizing these skills you can be either an agro funnel or an agro sponge. The terms I use here a funnel is when we are trying to maintain agro. The sponge where we try to absorb the agro into us but not letting it out. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>How to utilize these skills are as follows.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When running with Shining beacon/benidiction and redemption on a main agro producer and also having up our group agro transferance we are acting as a funnel. Channeling the hate through us. One simple switch by turning off benediction you are able to be become sponge rather than funnel. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For suggestions with the combat revamp I would like to see an additional spell added to our line of redemption. THis spell suggestion would be a multiple target spell that would allow us to transfer more hate to us rather than just one single main agro producer. For one concentration, we would transfer 12% of the hate generated by one target but allow us to utilize it on multiple characters at a cost of 1 con per usage. This could also be use in conjunction with redemption. I.e. redemption on a main agro producer and 1 of the new spells on another character. THis would cost us 3 con. Needless to say we would have to drop our hate generation buff which would put us in more of an off tank roll to begin with. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Agro management is dismissed by many folks not understanding it is indeed a vital importance in raids. Paladins ability to slow down agro spikes allow the MT of the raid to hold agro easier and agro not bounce around all over.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So essentially, I would like to see our ability to truely manage agro built upon rather than just producing hate. Let keep paladins technical in nature so that those who choose to learn how to fully play the class benifit the most.</DIV>
