During my recent visit to the trial of harclave I decided to use the PGT purely for the procs, just to test it out. Previously when using my Ghoulbane in the trial, its phenominal. It attacks like im dual wielding and the damage all round is fantastic. So im thinking, surely if the speed increased on the Ghoulbane, it will for the PGT. It seems not. When I equip the Ghoulbane, the damage listed changes from the usual 25-70 to 58-173. If I equip the PGT, the damage stays low and the weapon doesnt really improve. Is anyone else experiencing this with weapons too? If I equip a crushing weapon, it also increases the damage listed.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what does PGT stand for?

If you look at your stats you will notice you have 110% haste once you touch the altar. Weapons cap out on delay at .8 I believe. So.... if you have all that haste, why not use a nice big 2 hander with massive damage. I use a Royal great Flail and I hit for close to 1000 damage on a normal hit. Your 2hander will attack just as fast as your one hander when you have haste capped. Try it and see how it does, I think you will be pleasently surprised how fast you mow thru the mobs.
Message Edited by RobleeS on 07-07-2005 11:18 PM

Yeah, there's not much reason to use the PGT after you've been uber-buffed, your power is never going to drop below 95%, and you don't need the ward with so much health. I fired up the BBC and went to town.

I always thought max weapon speed was 1.1, not .8. But the same principle holds true, swing your slowest weapon .

I used RGF when I went through there, it also helps to have a rediculous proc that can go off on 2 of your AEs.
