In a single group, me as MT: -- Benediction - This is a must for tanking, and with Call of Glory we can negatate the - slashing/crushing stats it gives. Being a barbarian (+5 defense racial trait) and using Benediction I am in essense a L53 Tank (263-265 Defense I believe) -- Kasine's Enlightened Piety - The +sta (more HP) +agi (more avoidence) and Wis/Str (more power, etc) is well worth the 1 slot -- Kasine's Enlightened Piety - On the Main Healer, since it gives Wisdom In a single group, me as DPS or OT: Kasine's Enlightened Piety Kasine's Enlightened Piety Kasine's Enlightened Piety Kasine's Enlightened Piety Kasine's Enlightened Piety Normally I will only OT to a Guardian or Zerker, who don't need us to use Redepmtion since they keep aggro fine.

When tanking: Benediction Redemption - Even though it means the loss of any concentration requiring buffs I am really learly to do without it even with a Master 1 Clarion Call and Adept 3 Zealous Preaching. When active off tanking: Benediction Pious Belief on the MT (I have this at Master 1, thus 1 extra point of Wis over Crusade Adept 3) Pious Belief on the main Priest When DPS/support healing etc: 5x Pious Belief

agree ... redemption seems essential atm when tanking with a assasin with lots of adept3's among other classes. doing anything else [Removed for Content] your group's dps too much imho.

Personally even when grouping with Warlocks / Wizards who have Adept 3 (and a couple lower masters) I do not have issues holding aggro in a single group if I am able to get a good 6 secs at pull time before they go happy. So Redemption isn't something that I have used for about 10 levels, but thats just me...

assassins are worse than wizzie/warlocks in my experience ... it's not early in fights that it's a problem, it's late (especially in stifle/stun zones like nek2). Redemption is one of the best ways to continue accruing hate while stunned.

Message Edited by djhbeek on 06-29-2005 01:58 PM

Depends on the situation. - When grouping (heroic encounters) with me as MT 1. Blessed Weapon (upgrade) 2. Kasine's Enlighted Piety (on self) 3. Kasine's Enlighted Piety (on the main melee char) 4. Redemption (on the char who is most likely to gain aggro .. ie ranger, warlock, wizard, swash etc) 5. Same redemption (as it takes 2 conc). - When grouping (heroic encounters) with me not tanking 1. Blessed Weapon (upgrade of it, forgot the name) 2. Kasine's Enlighted Piety (on self) 3. Kasine's Enlighted Piety (on main melee char) 4. Kasine's Enlighted Piety (on other melee char or healer) 5. Kasine's Enlighted Piety (on other melee char or healer or whoever needs more hp) - Soling tough mobs 1. Blessed Weapon (upgrade of it) 2. Kasine's Enlighted Piety (on self...duh soloing ) 3. Benediction 4. Benediction 5. Benediction - Raid as MT : Same setup as grouping for heroic mobs with me as MT(redemption on the zerker gives quite an increase in hate) - Raid as DPS : Same setup as grouping heroic mobs with me as dps (though sometimes I give up concentration for redemption if we have a player who can't control aggro)
