<DIV>I think it's a great guide. In a way, it's almost too long with too much information for those who need it most, the true noob. On the other hand, they don't have to read every single word, and it's better to have too much than not enough. I think you do a good job in talking about our role, at least in groups. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To expand, you might want to add these three things: first, more about our specific skills, second, more about our specific equipment, and third, the 'average' paladin raid role. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The skills section seems short. Thus, for skills, you might just link the compiled list - which gives spell lines and such. How good our heals are, how good our wards are, how excellent our rez is at higher levels, how we don't have certain skills perhaps. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You talk about heavy armor, but you might want to talk about the fabled/legendary/treasured/handcrafted differences in armor, weapons and skills. You may want to explain about keeping armor updated and how items scale as we level if there is a level range. You may want to include the fact that every level we gain 5 skill in everything. Also, you might want to inform those that currently we don't have a ranged item though this will be filled. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for our raid role, well, right now we are mostly dps, primary battle rezzers, and some of the most outstanding paladins are MA or MT's. Overall though, most are not. Just something to add for those who wonder what we do at level 50.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Once again, thanks for all the hard work.</DIV>

Everyone has their own preferences, they can and should customize their Crusader/Paladin as they like. I have tried to stay away from telling people how to play the Crusader/Paladin and have tried to point them in the right direction. I think that there can be a lot of diversity within the ranks of Paladins. If everyone had the same, cookie cutter Paladin, how boring would EQ2 be for the Paladin? I dont think SOE wants a guide in their forums that gives everything away. Not even the strategy guide does that. I take the Fighter/Crusader/Paladin from lvl 1-34 all the way through the Class Armor quests and the Ghoulbane.</P> <P>I will not be able to put information about the end game until I get there. I made a second, Koada'Dal Paladin to help my guild, he has turned out even stronger than my first Paladin and is a whole lot of fun to play. I made him as an experiment. Most choose the strongest races for Paladins, I chose the weakest to see how strong a Koada'Dal could become as Paladin. The Koada'Dal have tremendous advantages for a Paladin, high Wisdom, Intelligence and agility. Most importantly they have this massive power pool at the start of the game, nearly as much power as stamina at lvl 1. They need strength and stamina but oh my the power. However, playing a low strength race as a Paladin is not for novices. If you do not choose your attributes and traits wisely, you could end up with a very weak Paladin. I think the High Elf will get to 50 before the human. I still love my human Paladin. I still think that humans probably make the best Paladins because of their natural resistance, balanced attributes and racial upgrades.</P>
<DIV>/applaud</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Excellent Guide !!!!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've attained my place among the honorable Paladins and this guide is a fantastic tool ! Coming from other classes it is a great way to get a running start.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>An anonymous Paladin</DIV>
