My GF is playing a guardian. ATM I am using the templar of my brother so we can duo without any problem. We kill slow but we never die. But I am starting to find it lame to always play the character of my brother hehe.

I do have a paladin alt that I realy liek to play. So I were wondering if we could duo for good EXP has a pally/guardian duo ?

ATM we never group bcuz she is not that good yet. She almost never played any computer game so I wouldn,t having her tanking while we do have 5adds on us. vs 2 or 3 adds she can do pretty good. But I prefer to wait b4 grouping with poeple I don't have on my friend list

not a GREAT combo, but the plus side would be that you could pull off her and tank if she gets in trouble ...

it would depend on the lvl of the charecters u would prolly need a few nice upgraded pally heals

There's nothing wrong with duoing any two professions in this game. At one time or another, I've duoed with most and with success. I can think of a few pros/cons with duel tanks:

Pros
- Aggro management isn't really an issue with two tanks wearing heavy armor near the same level -- When I duo with another tank class I usually have that class MT so I heal if required and more importantly, steal their aggro should they take significant damage. The key in my opinion is for each to use hate tools minimally so aggro may be flip-flopped back and forth easily. Having a healer is great but 10-12K HP between two tanks isn't bad either if one tank hits the orange and then the other tank takes over aggro

Cons
- If the Guardian main tanks, the paladin can heal which is nice until you reach harder mobs that require a pure healer. I think you would definitely reach limitations faster on the level of mob difficulty you could tackle with two tanks then say a single tank with a healer or very high dps class. This may come even more into play if our dps is lowered significantly post combat revamp.

- HOs will be limited to solo HOs with two tank classes--major loss of bonus damage and buffs you get from a profession mix.

- Perhaps more loot drop competition? The good stuff will likely be usable by both tanks

Thanks,
Kalen
